Sting masks and shirts were huge in '97 too. Fans came to see the nWo get shitkicked by Sting. The end of Uncensored '97 is something I'll always remember, is my biggest markout moment of my childhood, and I still get goosebumps when I think of it. His series with Vader is some of the best stuff WCW ever did and he was consistently good-to-great in the ring until the Crow character.

It's pretty darn good. The Hardy interview wasn't the best because it largely was a retread of the Jericho interview. Part 2 of Lance Russell with Cornette was awesome, again, but not quite as much fun as the first part. A lot of TV numbers and Jim did that thing where he goes on and on for several minutes without letting his guest get a word in.

Stars trade Dillon to the Sharks for Demers and a 3rd in 2016. I haven't been paying attention this year but the past few seasons I've really liked Dillon's game.

Could you do downed submission finishers in previous games? I tried going for the Walls of Jericho and I got a lame leg kick animation which consumed my finisher. Same thing happened with Flair and the Figure 4. That's my only complaint with the Rumble.

It's way more difficult to get pinned by something lame as the kickout meter adjusts according to what move you just received. Had a bunch of really fun matches even in showcase mode with the CPU on normal.

WWE sent out an email regarding Survivor Series with the following tidbit: Roman, Randy, and/or Bryan? Even if it's just for a knee or one attack, having Bryan come out to put the nail in the coffin of the Authority would be the fitting ending.

It may change when/if they decide to push him, much like Ziggler. WWE doesn't expect their fanbase to remember what happened 10 minutes ago much less a few weeks ago.

I made myself as goofy looking as possible and my guy talked like Channing Tatum in Coach Carter. Soooo funny. Channing FRYE became my first year mentor on the Magic. I quickly got out of Orlando ASAP, joining the Mavs in the first year of free agency. For whatever reason, Doc Rivers becomes your coach in year 2 and he's not very good at reading lines and making it sound like he's not reading his lines. "I am... very excited... to be here!" I was excited to play WWE's career mode only to find out it's just a plain, vanilla imitation and we'll likely get the good shit with voice acting next year.

NBA 2K15 is rad and I recommend it. I've never been a fan of the created player modes but MyCareer is really goofy and fun. I've heard NBA Live is finally decent but nowhere near as good as 2K.

But, yeah, Battletoads were ridiculously hard but awesome for those first few levels I could beat. Far Cry 4 is so great. One example of how awesome it is: a black eagle picks up a full sized pig and flies off with it. This is also a possibility:

RandomAct, did you get Sting and Hogan working? If not, try following the advice here. Same goes for people who can't get the accelerator working. I decided to just unlock stuff instead of using the accelerator.

It's amazing. Metal Gear Solid also is one that's pushing the hardware more than most.

Man, the high point of Hugh Morris' career was the one liner from Christian. "I'll see Hugh later." Edit: Ole's always been an asshole though. His book is a great read (that story about the old person stabbing him!) and one of the better Crowbar Press releases from the bunch I've read.

I've played about 15 matches over three or so hours and here are some point form initial thoughts: *The weight of wrestlers and their movement is great. Not perfect but a huge improvement. *The stamina system is a great introduction and has big time implications on the engine. *Matches are fun again. Again, if you're expecting perfection or a brand new engine you'll be disappointed but they've made pretty big strides here in my opinion. *I'd agree with Bix that graphics are a mixed bag with short haired guys generally looking good and those with long hair not so good. Some faces are just... off. HBK was face scanned and still doesn't look right. He also has about twice as much hair as he ought to with a ridiculously low hairline. Hogan also received magical hair implants. In saying that, the characters that they nail look excellent. *Lots of great transition animations, fatigue animations, some nice new move animations but too many old animations and quite a few goofy looking ones too. *Showcase is pretty neat. I've had quite a few excellent matches between Trips and HBK, but like the rest of these types of modes in the past, they have a limited shelf life. So, from my limited playtime I'm excited with the direction the series is going and this is a fun game but I still expected a bit more from 2K after they stripped so much from last year's iteration. I'm in agreement with Brandon that either next year's or the year following's release will be the game we're looking for. I'd recommend it to diehard rasslin' game fans with current gen consoles. Also, for those playing on PS4, how do we use the accelerator? It seems like it's not up on PSN yet from what I gather. Anybody had success with it? I actually think I might just try to unlock everything this year. And for anybody that's played the HBK/HHH Showcase: when going for the elbow signature off the pod in the Elimination Chamber match at Survivor Series '02, I'm not ticking the box for whatever reason. I've tried it off two different pods without success. Glitch? When is Paige released? I would've thought they'd give us the season pass bonus right from the get go. That's pretty lame that she's not day 1 DLC.

I've only played for about 30 minutes but... I kind of like it. Regardless of that, those gifs are hilarious.
