  1. I work various shifts day by day, week by week. I can not stand the attitudes of some of the weekday day shift crew. They are so negative. Always bitching about something. Oh the evening back reg operator/dining room/grill/dish/line closer didn't do this, or this customer was rude/stupid/sucks/etc. or I hate my job/the holidays/etc. or evening shift is lazy, blah blah blah. Shit, there is one in particular that probably has never worked beyond 2pm in her 19 years there, so she has no clue what goes on beyond her time off. The evening/weekend shift is primarily teens to young adults and although they don't have the drive like I personally would like to see out of them sometimes. I would rather work 8 days out of 7 with them over dayshift. At least they aren't such loathing bitches (male and female, I'm not being gender specific here). <vent>You don't like it here? Hit the bricks, I don't need to deal with your fucking piss poor attitude anymore. Cause I sure as hell am not walking out. The only problem I have is your attitude. You however, have a problem with everything damn thing else around here.</vent> I have been noticing that I have been getting a little short myself as of late. Either they are the Borg and are assimilating me, or I am just getting sick of their shit and am dangerously close to going ham on them. Probably losing my promotion, or worse, my job as a result. Either way, attitude is contagious. You get what you give. I try. God knows I try to stay positive.
  2. Well, Cena was the "Doctor of Thuganomics", but that has long been dropped since then. Nonetheless, even Cena had a nickname at one point.
  3. From my hometown. Spoiled due to size. Happy Holidays.
  4. Maybe they didn't want the fans to confuse him with The Red Rooster. Hell, I don't know. I'm not on my game today. Probably not even the right time frame, either.
  5. Yeah, I boo booed with that. Got side tracked with a phone call while trying to type that out.
  6. Fenway Park and Wrigley *Field are 800 years old, and yet they still stand. Most of the other teams stadium's gets beyond 8 and they are already talking about building fresh. Stop hiring shitty contractors if your stadium is falling apart so soon. Pretty fucked up if you ask me. *Wrote Stadium like the dumb ass that I am.
  7. I don't have a rule change for the NFL...yet. Just a geographic one. Have Carolina in the East and Dallas in the South. Yeah, it changes the rivalry, but if anyone old as dirt, like me, remember. At one point, we had San Francisco, LA Rams, New Orleans, and Atlanta in the NFC West. I really don't think it would kill the purity of the sport if we did a switcheroo with the Cowboys and Panthers.
  8. In the spirit of the holidays. ?Who? vs The Grinch seemed to be a decent match up.
  9. Wasn't it the Arizona team that faced Pittsburgh in the super bowl? 7-9 at that. Never mind. Apparently I'm wrong.
  10. Del Rio was just getting revenge for Nana after Graso had one of his reindeer stooges take her out.
  11. Someone help me here. Is this a GIF or their entire Summerslam match?
  12. Your college football one I have some mixed emotions. On one hand, I love your creative thought. On the other, it's *my* creative thought that's putting a downer on it. I'm wondering if the ends will justify the means. Imagine Vanderbilt going to the ACC and FSU going to the SEC. SEC becomes even more powerful and the ACC gets watered down further. Or the following year ACC Champs Duke goes to the Big12. Not exactly the Jayhawk/Blue Devil match up many would want to see. Then again, this is *your* rule change, which is more than I can say for myself, as I have no ideas of my own, at the moment.
  13. Kevin makes a good point about watching it on the big screen. Plus there's also some of us, like myself, who have outside circumstances that keeps us from seeing the live feed. With me, a lot times it's work. So many variables. I'll be 40 in a few weeks. That last line of Kevin's kind of makes me sad, but I'm sure is mostly true.
  14. Those numbers are crazy. Surely there are not that many people that are located in rural areas with no broadband internet who have no problem spending $60 on 1 PPV. I also don't see how there's so many people that don't know how to get the network on their TV but are willing to spend $60. Who are these 100,000 people who spend $60 for a 3 hour show that was technically free? Some of that 100K+ audience may be that far out in the sticks, while others just may order one or two PPV's a year without the extra expense of an ISP (or smart phone w/ data plan). Some are just old fashioned technophobes who don't wish to deal with that pesky internet. (My mom has had DVR since July '12, when I first moved back home from FL. She's just *now* getting the hang of the remote). Then...well...there are those who struggle to spell WWE, never mind finding the Network. I need to explain that last part. Blindly pick any website and go to the comments section. That is the group I am regarding, not the "dumb redneck rasslin' fan" stereotype I was probably looked at as referring to.
  15. If that doesn't reek of manliness, nothing does. You know those motivational posters that can be found in any office building? This should be one of those posters with the words 'life, you're living it wrong.' Your quote reminded me of one of his own. "If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space."
  16. If UTC was going to move up, they should have moved to the Sun Belt this year with former conference-mates Georgia Southern and Appalachian State. There's not a chance in the world that the Big 12 is going to expand to include an FCS team that has a 20,000 seat football stadium. The most obvious expansion teams for the Big 12 would be BYU, Cincinnati, and then possibly Boise State, Colorado State and Memphis. Yeah, like I said, I thought my friend was just joking around. I didn't take it all seriously. just an entertaining thought and idea. agree with your idea of them moving to the sun belt, but I think they need a few more years in the Southern to establish more dominance.
  17. Come on Dewar. What was the results? Oh, not the weekly winner. We just need to know how many beers you took in to know how shit faced you were for the game.
  18. That was so weird seeing the RNR in the WWF even at that point. I know it was a cross promotion time, but still weird nonetheless.
