That is what I'd love to see happen. Remember when Anthony Johnson would cut 60 pounds to make 170?
-
I'm surprised they didn't attempt to scoop up a decent fight from some local show happening tonight or tomorrow to fill the void.
-
Can you imagine if Soto wins?

Brazilian site is also saying Barao is out of the main event...oh my, if true. http://sportv.globo.com/site/combate/noticia/2014/08/renan-barao-passa-mal-e-esta-fora-da-luta-contra-tj-dillashaw-pelo-ufc-177.html

Hell, that means we might see Bisping vs. Dollaway.
-
OSP vs. Feijao on the Brazil Fight Night on November 8.
-
UFC 180 gives us Kelvin Gastelum vs. Jake Ellenberger and Diego Sanchez vs. Norman Parke.
-
My main grievance is they trot out the "Bisping has never lost two in a row" stat as if it is legit. It can't be that hard for him when you make a concerted effort to give him much easier fights after he loses. Best example: Benson is top ten and after his loss to Pettis, he fights three top ten guys in a row. Bisping doesn't. I don't begrudge people for liking Bisping, but I don't have to enjoy watching a guy whose career is sustained by calculated matchmaking. If I wanted that, I'd watch more boxing.

I agree, the replay doesn't look good though. This is another reason it sucks that the title has been held up for so long Dos Anjos has been on a roll, and is still a couple fights from fighting for a title. He just had the biggest win of his career, and there is a good chance he can lose to one of the 275 contenders at 155. With the way things work, Pettis vs. Melendez will be a close fight and UFC will book an immediate rematch. So are we really talking about the possibility of being upset that we have to sit through a rematch of a great fight? When the belt has already been held up for a year and a half, yes.

Ah, jeez, I'd like for Benson to be at least afforded the opportunity to show he was out.
-
UFC finally cut Robert Drysdale.

Tonight's Titan FC show is on CBS Sports Network at 10pm EST for those interested.

Big Nog has finally said he is going to retire. Bad news? He said it will be at the end of 2015. Ouch.

The highest rated episode of TUF on FS1 was episode two of the Ronda/Miesha season with 870,000, down almost 50% from the norm. You think this will do higher than that?
-
Why is it going to bomb? Because every season on FS1 has bombed.
-
Glad the UFC screwed up the entire division for a TUF show that is going to bomb.

Saw THE EXPENDABLES 3 tonight. I hope Rousey had fun on this and FAST & FURIOUS 7 because she's not going to be getting any big gigs after those.

Bobby Green about to get mad as Alvarez vs. Cerrone should be announced in 3...2...1...

Coker also commented on Eddie Alvarez and said lawyers were all handling it now.
