I can't change names. They only gave me buttons so I can lock up the Highway to Ham thread on Sunday afternoons. I have less moderating power than Jae. Someone called him the Dolph Ziggler of Moderators, which would make me the Tyson Kidd of Moderators.

I don't think so. if I can, El Daniel's going back to Novacain stat.

Went to Isles-Kings for $5 via StubHub last night (I gave my ST for the game to a friend). So I check the prices for their visit to Newark on Friday. Devils fans want $40 to see that. Devils are one of the most boring teams in the league, so I'll pass at that price.
Five bucks for an NHL game is fantastic. I just checked Stubhub for tonight's Jets game, and they want 80 bucks to sit three rows from the top of the building. Um, no thanks.

Bills front office = little bitches. Can Atlanta file a complaint about being forced to play in a library disguised as a football stadium when they play that Toronto game? Oh Em Gee, the big, bad league is conspiring against we!
It's a Conspiracy! C-O-N-SPIRACY.

Damn fun Jets/Sharks game tonight. Detroit re-match is up next for the Jets.
As of right now, the West is 73-29-11 against the east. 9 of those 29 losses belong to the Oilers, who are the only Western Conference team who isn't over .500 against the East this season.

The 22 yard field goal falling short because of how hard the wind was blowing might have been the funniest football play since Kerwin Bell spiked the ball into his own nuts.
-
I assumed Tim Krul's 14 saves today would be worth at least six points. I was wrong, only wourth four.

Fuck you Wal-Mart and your shitty disentegrating shopping bags. Two bags, both shredded before I made it home from a 8 minute walk.
Also fuck you to the shitbag who was honking his horn at me after he made an illegal turn when I was trying to pick up an empty 20 litre water jug before it got run over by a car.

I don't get why the Pac 12 let ESPN move Stanford/Oregon to a Thursday, unless they were afraid everyone would be watching LSU/Alabama on Saturday night. Don't think FOX knew Baylor was going to be this good this year, otherwise that game would have been on Saturday night in primetime for sure.
FS1 has a UFC show on Saturday night, so they couldn't have aired it anyway. The Fox broadcast network is airing Texas-WVU, which was an absurdly awesome game last year and has the ZOMG TEXASSSSSS appeal.
ESPN/ABC still have access to Saturday Pac 12 games, don't they? I'm sure Stanford/Oregon could have been their primetime matchup. Would have been a more exciting matchup for us neutrals than this week's scheduled Notre Dame/Pittsburgh matchup.

Holy fuck are the Jets a terrible team right now. I feel bad for Montoya.

You know who else liked "Battle of the Network Stars"? Red Forman.
Holy shit. Wikipedia says that Chuck Norris was the original pick to play Red Forman. That can't possibly be true, can it?
-
Why are you taking shots at Detroit? It's not out fault Bradford is hurt.
Sadly, this was my first thought as well...... at least Dallas/Cinci won't have to feel bad about being the worst division winner, right? This is set up perfectly for Detroit to win the division.
He's a Bears fan....

Awesome time tonight at the MTS Centre watching the Jets beat the Red Wings. Ran into some friends, and long lost high school buddies. If only rum wasn't 8 bucks a drink...
-
Those Eastern Conference sissy Red Wings were easy pickings tonight. If Jimmy's glove hand was very good instead of outstanding, it would have been minimum 7-2. Everyone in the stands figured out "Stop shooting at his glove!!!!", but the guys on the ice did not.
That being said, Bogozian looked like fucking dogshit again tonight. Either he's hurt, or hitting the liquor too hard between games.
-
Today is the first time since the Jets drafed him that I haven't thought Quienten Coples was a total waste of space. He's played damn good today. Finally.

Most of the people I know with season tickets are in a group, where each person gets two seats for 8 or 10 games a year. I know one guy who bought three seats for the full season, but sells off the majority of his tickets.
At the MTS Centre, it's 8 bucks for a rum/vodka/rye, and 9 bucks for a jumbo draft. They wonder why people show up half in the bag to games, it costs half a month's rent to buy two tickets and drink at the game.
