  1. Wasn't nominated for a Golden Globe either. Really, it just wasn't that good so I'm not surprised at the snubs. I think The Red Turtle nominated over Sing or The Little Prince is the upset here.

  3. I'd describe my ballot as kind of a "desert island list". For example: Yeah, Apocalypse Now is quite the cinematic achievement...but I'd rather have Wayne's World with me In the end, the cream will rise to the top anyway. So I do hope everyone's list has some "weirdness" in it.
  4. I'm in. Mostly because my "Best of 2016" list is pretty much done already. I could always check out a few more flicks though.
  5. Yeah, I'm sending mine at the last minute but you WILL get one. I'm just knocking off as many movies as I can before the deadline.
  6. On the other end of the spectrum, according to Flickchart, I've seen 416 movies from this decade thus far... Holy crap.
  7. You'll get my ballot any day now. I got a full Top 100 done today but I wanna check out 1 or 2 more films before I send it in.
  8. My fave films of the 10's (according to Flickchart and their sometimes messed up system) La La Land The Dark Knight Rises Star Wars: The Force Awakens 21 Jump Street Frozen The Lego Movie Kick-Ass The Wolf of Wall Street Rise of the Planet of the Apes The Way, Way Back Mud The Help Kingsman: The Secret Service The order's a little all over the place but that seems about right
  9. Started on my list last night. The Top 50 was quick & easy. Now, placing the other 50 is a totally different story. A complete mess thus far...it's gonna take a lot of work.
  10. So I just watched La La Land again to see if my high ranking is in part due to the aforementioned recency bias... ...and I liked it even MORE the second time!
  11. Just saw La La Land... Not only is it easily my #1 of 2016 thus far but I think it'll comfortably stay around the #50-ish mark of my All-Time list too. Loved it that much. I agree with Cyanide above...it feels weird to have something so recent in there but still, I hope many of you get to watch it on the big screen before the deadline.
  12. Oh, you ain't seen nothing yet. (I also attended MANY Season 3 tapings )
  13. Top 3 finish! My best performance ever in the movie pool
  14. The Dar/Darth Vader chant is not a Full Sail original so the blame is not fully on them. You'll likely hear the chant at any Dar match where the crowd is familiar with him (i.e.: UK indies, etc.)
  15. Holy crap! I honestly thought I was out of it for this year.
  16. British Mat Wrestling : Daniel Bryan : : Puroresu : Tyson Kidd True love.
  17. I hope everyone has checked out Broken Matt's Talk is Jericho podcast. The commitment... He's really thought this character through!
  18. So Central Intelligence is not complete dog shit? Oh man...down I go!
  19. Civil War isn't even gonna break the $400 million mark in time? That's disappointing. (I'm usually pretty good with the tiebreaker) I have a feeling Hollywood is gonna panic over this summer.
  20. Angry Birds falls to 44% finally putting it below X-Men's 51%...thankfully for most of our RT lists. Now come on Alice! Beat those birds! (not by much though, please).
  21. Nice Guys is my #2 RT... YES! ...and X-Men is catching up to Angry Birds (58% vs. 60%) so *fingers crossed*.
