  1. Kobo has 3 for $15 ebook sale. Eighth Wonder & other wrestling books available. https://www.kobo.com/us/en/list/deep-dive-and-become-a-know-it-all/aiVs3Yi3jMJmOgjX2zC49Q
  2. Anyone planning on watching The Alienist yet? It's an interesting murder mystery I'll watch this season. Very dark visually though. I originally thought there would be some steampunk sci-fi in it, but oh well. I received a screener from Turner for the first two episodes. My thoughts on them are here: https://redheadedmule.com/tv/tnt-alienist-review/12089/
  3. Oh, great, TNA can tout that they got mainstream coverage from the NY Times: mobile.nytimes.com/aponline/2016/01/06/arts/ap-wre-tna-future.html Also, full episodes can be found on Pop TV's site (no subscription required, I think): http://poptv.com/full_episodes
  4. Re: The Clown https://twitter.com/FrankWWEClown/status/606926432820981760 Ooooook, I never noticed there was a regular clown at WWE events not named Doink.
  5. I'd like to see the Kindle version, please. I prefer that format for my tablet.
  6. Jericho has an interesting way to get Bray Wyatt onto the podcast.
  7. It's bad timing now. Whatever momentum it may have had died with the cancellation announcement.
  8. TBS brings back King of the Nerds for season 3. I'm looking forward to the new personalities invading Nerdvana. My take on the news.
  9. Yes. He goes on about the filming of Jingle All the Way 2 and Italian culture and oh-my-mind-is-numbing…
  10. Last night, on WWE Network's Warrior tribute…
  11. That reminds me of how much I need to catch up with X-O Man of War & Harbinger Wars. I only read the first arc of X-O.
  12. My friend conducted interviews with two famous creators at Sac Con. Sergio Aragonés talks about: - Meeting J.J. Abrams - His appreciation for Japanese culture - His run on Bat Lash Kevin Eastman talks about: - TMNT's Daredevil & Cerebus' influence - Casey Jones in the comics - His advice for aspiring creators - Who he wants to cross over with the Turtles
  13. Heroes is coming back as the 13-episode Heroes Reborn next year. Who's demanding it? Certainly not me, but NBC would have people believe it's back by popular demand. My take on the announcement.
  14. Same here. It makes for good nighttime reading. I think it's one of the criticisms I made when I reviewed the book. The author didn't immediately note who most of these people are and probably assumes that every reader is a Nick superfan. The appendix at the end lists who everyone is so going back and forth was a bit tiring. Also, I got caught up in the hype such that I watched the Nick reunion show they did. (The whole thing was on YouTube, but I can't find it.) EDIT: Here it is!
  15. Got them all! Yeah! I want two of the I-Choo-Choo-Choose You Trains. One isn't enough. Also, the best thing about this Valentine's Day event is that it stopped that 90 day task my nephew accidentally started. Anyone who wants to friend me, I'm nhbrainmoog.
  16. NBC released photos for the upcoming March 6th episode, "The Wall." I've posted them to my site.
  17. NBC released photos of the upcoming episode, "Anniversaries." They've been posted to my site. I hope the show doesn't drag.
  18. Dredd: Mega-City Two: City of Courts #2 is out. I reviewed the comic; I dig it as a quasi-travelogue of an unfamiliar locale in the Dredd universe. I plan on sending questions to Leah Moore & John Reppion for an interview, but I can't think of good ones since they've done many interviews about their upcoming Vikings comic for 2000 AD. I'll take suggestions, but please nothing about Leah's dad because I don't want to look like a fanboy. Also, they've covered that topic on their website FAQ.
  19. Agreed. I used to REALLY look forward to watching it. I'm reluctant to watch last night's show now. The direction of the characters seem to be iffy and the jokes aren't as fresh.
  20. King of the Nerds season 2 began last night. The elimination was decided by a half-trivia, half-broomstick-riding event called "Nerdditch." I don't have a favorite at the moment, but there could be some more awkward contestants than in season one. For those who hated last season's ending, I've been assured that the new finale has been "ramped up." I wrote a full recap of last night's episode. I also have been interviewing contestants. Nicole, the first season 2 contestant, happily enough, is a chemist, roller derby player, and a self-professed heel mark.
  21. I saw it online via the LOGO website months ago. Glad it's on Netflix now, it's a fun documentary. Would've felt complete if McClane had participated, but oh well. Here's my full review of the movie.
  22. I'm making it a "DEFIANT" December: I have the first arcs of Dark Dominion & Warriors of Plasm. Where should I start?
  23. Mo's leaving the show? From his Twitter: Sad to say but Im no longer working on #steveaustinshow. Wish @steveaustinBSR all the best moving forward. It was truly a pleasure. https://twitter.com/MoDarwiche/status/379682050670088192
