  1. It's kinda sad that they don't have any hot up and coming acts to give a big Rumble win to. I guess you could say in WWE land Balor and Nak aren't that established yet even though they've been in the biz a long time and are over 35. This should've been Stroman's year to wreck shop in the Rumble and challenge Brock at Mania, but ya know Roman and stuff.
  2. I don't think they have enough over female talent to fill an hour long Rumble match especially without Charlotte and Alexa. I haven't watched NXT in a good while, but I'm pretty sure they don't have any acts there as over as the Horsewomen were. Asuka has been painfully unover the few times I've seen her on Raw.
  3. Looks like I made the right call bailing after Vince/Austin.
  4. Do people seriously think Emma went into business for herself in a match with Asuka? lol
  5. Takeover is looking pretty rad. I'm not worried about the title match because every time the challenger has had the chance he's delivered. It may not be the most anticipated match, but realistically the women's title match to crown a new champ and MF'n War Games will be enough on top of the card.
  6. I just don't see the same potential in Liv that Bliss had. They both have similar problems with offense as babyfaces, but I just can't buy Liv inflicting damage on another human being. The few times(or was it one time) I saw Mandy Rose she showed way more potential than Liv.
  7. I think Cole needs to bulk up some at least put on 10-15 lbs. He's going to look like a runt in there with someone like Drew. I believe they will push his craftiness and cunning which is smart, but he still needs to add some weight to his frame. Maybe have him travel with Heavy Machinery for a while lol.
  8. The little I've seen from Adam Cole before NXT led me to believe he was an undersized and not particularly athletic guy who was pretty good on the mic and nothing special once the bell rang. Nothing on this show changed my mind. I think he has potential because in this day and age anyone who can talk and show some charisma stands out, but I see him as a prospect and not someone who's ready to come in and set the world on fire. Oney has been the best tv match worker in WWE this year. Liv is still the least convincing wrestler I've seen. She moves around the ring like a baby giraffe. She makes for a good enhancement talent, but I can't see her above that. Not a huge fan of a guy like Aichner coming in with a bunch of high spots to wow the crowd while having a CAW #1 gimmick. I liked Alister Black better when he didn't talk. They've just about killed the aura he had his first few months by giving him nothing to work with character wise. I skipped the previous 3 weeks on NXT, and don't really have much desire to catch up. This may be my low point of NXT fandom since I started watching weekly in the summer of 2014. Losing the two company aces after Brooklyn has really hurt because this time no one was built up enough to take their spots. I like Drew and Ember just fine, but they don't have the character work and charisma that Roode and Asuka have.
  9. It's almost like they're begging USA to drop the third hour. "Look we don't give a shit about it, and neither should you".
  10. It's like some people can't stop bitching about politics no matter the subject.
  11. So they took the only over babyface in the cruiser weight division and turned him heel? sounds about right
  12. When that doesn't work he'll be convinced going over Brock at Mania in his 4th consecutive Mania main event will be the one to win people over. I know people are bummed about Bayley, but I'm glad Emma didn't take the fall and actually got to do something on a ppv.
  13. The only big Roman match to rival this one in crappieness was probably the Taker match. WWE epic style at it's worst where the first half of the match doesn't matter then they go straight to 2.9'z. Brock/Braun was awesome for about two minutes before Braun got sucked into Brock's tired ass formula. Jason Jordan has sub Lance Storm charisma. Cesaro killed himself on the ring post and still carried Ambrose and Rollins to the MOTN. What a boss. Women's title match was the second best on the night with Nia and Emma looking really good. Don't care about Enzo winning 205 division is DOA anyway. Balor beats Bray after being attacked pre match. Just have Bray go away for a year. Pretty fun show, but the two big matches under delivered.
  14. I'm more offended by what a shitty show SDL has become than anything Jinder said in his promo. Also the building was about half full so they may want to look at a change in direction.
  15. The booking for the title match feels like a setup for Brock overcoming the odds.
  16. One of the best performers in WWE history, and single handedly carried the tv product for years. R.I.P Bobby
  17. There's only about 8-10 spots on both main roster shows for the women. I really don't see anyone retiring soon unless Nattie wanted to leave. I just don't know what they're going to do with everybody. NXT is only an hour so that limits them to 5 or 6 women in the mix at a time. It seems like they are in budget cut mode so I don't see a new show for the women being added.
  18. Shayna isn't even signed to a deal. She was built up to put over Kairi who is under WWE contract.
  19. I would think he knows something about the concussion law suits against WWE, and the dangers of head injuries in the year 2017.
  20. Imagine being Kairi and Shayna and meeting your boss for the first time right after the insane 70+ year old man is walking around backstage bleeding from the forehead because he just let a guy 40 years younger than him shoot headbutt him. I bet Kairi was like "and people think Japan is weird".
  21. I think people here knows that fucking SC exists by now.
  22. They couldn't book a 20 minute match with two relative unknowns on the back end of a Smackdown taping. I thought it was put together really well.
  23. I thought both women were great in this. Kairi is about the most likeable underdog there is, and Shayna is a great bully with skills to back it up. The crowd was about 5% into the entrances, and they had just about everybody by the finish. Great selling by Shayna too with the rib injury that did her in. Piper Niven being at ringside hopefully means they're going to sign her. I almost forgot about Kairi's dead eye look right before she countered the choke. She had me on that I was like shit that's it.
  24. Terrific final match, and they completely won over the audience by the end. Kairi is a star, but that was also a great performance by Shayna. Her rib selling was on point. I'm surprised they didn't do a post match angle.
