They can probably look at the fact that they employed him for however long without much real punching and shrug and tell themselves it’s the other place and they’ll be fine. -

There’s plenty to knock Tony for, but he handled this well in public. Didn’t knock him, didn’t humiliate him, didn’t bury him while he was very obviously on the way out. Put him over at the presser without prompt. By promoter standards, fairly classy. Now onto what he could have had -

Everything is always great. They’re always on their best run of shows ever. They always have a great relationship with the network. The ratings are great, both Nielsen and Cagematch. There are no mistakes. What is Tony’s greatest weakness? He works too hard. -

Not to stick up for Jericho or condemn him, I don’t know shit… but the Hausman show that spawned all this talk is actually called Rumor & Innuendo? That’s beyond parody.

Have we considered that Tony would make him the Devil as punishment for running off Punk? Put all the highly-panned booking on him and watch him twist in the wind? -

The true wrong answer is not bringing this to an immediate resolution. Even if it were Perry tonight, it’s glass half full that it’s finally over. -

Third time’s the charm for TNA landing the big fish for the rebrand. This is the way. -

At the onset, he alludes to news about his contract in the coming days. But the article certainly isn’t primarily interested in the issue. I have a bit of MJF fatigue, but I mostly attribute it to this Devil foolishness and previously the Adam Cole stuff which ran into a problem AEW has where something is funny once so they do it every week and overdo it and run it into the ground. He’s fine, but some of what he’s tasked with is head scratching. And I’m sure some changing of plans (on account of injuries and firings) lead to this, so it’s not all on him. -

We already have fan cam footage of Tony telling the live audience he fired Punk. -

After saying the Continental Classic is a huge success and that the audience wants a more sports-based presentation, that’d be hilarious. And we’d get an in-character scrum. Not gonna happen, but a very funny thought. -
Happy to be worked. Almost wonder if he put over AEW so much to avoid any perception hit if he (correctly?) decides it’s time for a change of scenery. He’s probably staying though.

Tony (Soprano, not Khan) vs Ralph would have done numbers on that site.

Tony’s a “Sopranos should have brought the Russian back” guy? Deeply unserious stuff, give Jarrett the book, he’s never watched the show so he can’t make such an obvious blunder.
