  1. So the next NWA title defense for Nick Aldis takes place on Sunday night in Puerto Rico for the CWA promotion and it's a doozy Kinda hope Billy wins it.
  2. I will be there for that. Can't wait. Pablo still rules
  3. Breeze/ricochet was awesome. Felt like an old school nxt match from 2015 with the crowd going nuts for Tyler. I'm sure this is a one off but I wish he would stick around.
  4. Do we have to spoiler tag in a spoiler thread? Anyways, I enjoyed the cage match and I'm not a big fan of the feud. Johnny was playing heel but the crowd still liked him. Dig the finish. Thought the women's match was very awkward. Bianca looked out of it after catching a io dive. Her vs Shayna should be good.
  5. Went to the IWA Florida show tonight. For those that don't know, IWA Florida is an offshoot of the former IWA Puerto Rico. Ran by Savio Vega in the Orlando area. Fun show with a lot of unknowns, some old IWA guys and Glamour Boy Shane. Great to finally see Shane live. Easily the most over guy there. Next show has Carlito. A Colon working an IWA show is just weird given the history.
  6. I would say Darby, Strickland, Priscilla, and Henry. Henry might be a little too short but he's really good. I used to think Strickland was all entrance but he impressed me vs Fabian at the last Evolve in Florida. Darby and Priscilla would make a good team in NXT. I have no idea why she's with such a boring sack like Theory. They have no chemistry. But the guy from Evolve who would work best in NXT is AR Fox. But we know that will never happen. Of course, I thought Riddle would never be in NXT but here we are.
  7. Pco is on the next show in February along with Shane Douglas. Crowd was about 150 or so. Better than wwn draws in Florida. Not sure if it's worth the drive as the wrestling isn't really good unless you like old wwr/tna guys and a MAGA heel group dominating everything.
  8. Went to the USA Pro show tonight in Orlando. I like going to Frank Goodman shows because you never know what to expect. The main event was jack swagger vs Vordell Walker in a cage. Sadly, the match wasn't very good as the crowd was pretty dead and a lot of people left after the Elijah Burke match. Weirdest match of the night was Shannon Moore vs Samuel Shaw. The ring ropes broke mid match. Two times, Shannon refused to kick out at three but the ref didn't count three. Finally, after the third time, Shannon got up and told the ref to fuck off and left from backstage. Never seen anything like that and I don't think it's an angle cause Goodman isn't that smart.
  9. Bayley was very popular with children. At least at the NXT shows. There are still little girls that dress like her to this day at the live events.
  10. The evolve show was fun live. Besides the profits, aichner and matha, also on the show were Jessie and the Brazilians. Thought all the nxt guys looked good. Especially Adrian and aichner. Only bad thing about the show is they drew really badly. I don't know why Gabe and sal continue to run the orphieum. It's such a shit building. Especially on a Sunday. Can't wait for the forgotten sons to be the new catch point of wwn.
  11. For a guy with 10 matches under his belt, he wasn't too bad. Some slip ups here and there but he has potential. The show peaked at the battle royal. Ohno wrestling in big T rex outfit was amazing. As was Matt Chicken Riddle, Drake Maverick as EC3's Robin and Otis as Mandy Rose. Rest of the show was ok but I kinda wish I went to IWA instead.
  12. I'd say it's closer to 75%. WWC only runs a few shows per month these days compared to twice a week they were running a few years ago. A lot of guys left for the Florida indies but they are slowly coming back. As for WWL vs WWC, I'll go with WWL now. WWC is dreadful to watch with the dead crowds and same guys on top. They have brought in some new guys but most of them aren't very good. WWL runs the same building as WWC but draws a much bigger crowd. I'm liking the IWA/WWL feud they are doing. Edwin is right that it could all end if the money mark leaves but I'm enjoying it while it lasts. CWA isn't too bad as they are mostly WWC castoffs and indie guys. I'm sad the Negro Casas match got canceled.
  13. Chad Knaus and Jimmie Johnson are parting ways after this year. I haven' watched NASCAR much the past couple years but this feels like an end of the Johnson era.
  14. God that Cesaro surprise was amazing. I haven't seen him that hyped in ages. Really made me want to see a Bar/ohno vs New Day. Cole/Ohno was great. Easily Cole's best match since the Dunne match. Rest of the show was ok. Enjoyed seeing Stacy Ervin Jr. live. He's going to be something special with a little more training..
  15. NXT did the first Kassius Ohno vs Matt riddle match tonight in NXT in Lakeland of all places. Would have thought they would have saved it for Orlando tomorrow night since they are running the huge Orlando Live Events building WWN used for Mania weekend. To no shock, the match was pretty good from reports.
  16. Went to a local indie last night. It was run by a Puerto Rican magazine so it had a lot of Puerto Rican talent like savio Vega, thunder and lightning and others. Fenix was there and the main was Pentagon vs mil muertes. Never seen mil before live but he was jacked. Fun show that took place at a livestock pavilion. Right up there with the all womens show I saw at a baseball practice complex a few weeks ago.
  17. Aerial/Zeuxis was better live than on tape but it was still awkward. I like the Big swole gimmick but those two didn't work well together. Good finish though. The post-match of Kacy/Reina was funny. Originally, Reina went to the back then ran back out to lift Kacy up. The crowd was wating for her to drop her but it never happened. They edited it because live it went like 2-3 minutes. The commentary on this show was really bad. Especially Renne. I don't know if it was because it was edited or what but she kept getting cut off by the other announcers and then she would finish her thought and it wouldn't make sense.
  18. ESPN is changing it's early afternoon schedule again. Sportsnation has been canceled and High Noon(still named that even though it won't air at noon anymore) will now be 30 minutes and air at 4pm est. The noon Sportscenter will return. I'm sad that they are changing High Noon as I enjoyed the show and the hour format let it breathe compared to the other shows. It was only a matter a time for Sportsnation after Wiley left for Fox.
  19. Yeah night 2 of this year's myc smokes last year's. I've seen a couple meiko satomura matches before but after the past two days, I want to see every match. She was the mvp of the tourney. The semi match was amazing and match of the tourney for sure. As for the Tegan thing, that was the saddest moment in wrestling I've seen in years. When she did the dive and got up and hit the steps, the whole crowd gasped cause we knew it was bad. I've never heard a crowd go silent like that. I hope she can come back. What awful luck.
  20. I enjoyed the show tonight. Won't spoil anything but just say that it was awesome to see Meiko live. And Ariel Monroe is the Jazzy of the MYC this year. She was incredibly over.
  21. The briscoes are headed to wwc in Puerto Rico for the big anniversario shows next month. I find this interesting because I thought roh talent couldn't work shows in the United States that had tv? I know guys work pwg.
  22. Speaking of Teddy Hart, he debuted at the MLW show last night and was the second most over act after the Lucha Bros. Teddy fits right at home in a promotion that books Sami Callihan and Rich Swann. The show was pretty weak overall but I liked the tag team title match and Janela/MJF.
  23. Why is Scott Steiner still wrestling in 2018? His promos are ok but no need for him to be in the ring every week. At least Eli won. Enjoyed the show for the most part. I'm not the biggest Allie fan but she works well with Su. The main event was nice but the finish made Pentagon looks like an idiot. I guess he's coming back for a rematch starting with the tapings on Friday. Also, I usually FF through LAX segments so when did Konnan, Diamante, and Homicide leave LAX? Eddie Kingston is a damn good replacement tho.
  24. Tye Dillinger showed up tonight at NXT Orlando to face Marcel Bartel. From the way he was talking, it seems the SD/Raw guys making appearances at NXT FL shows might continue. Also, the main event was Adam Cole vs Big Otis and it was certainly a match. Cole is actually taller than Otis.
