  1. My copy of Batman: Gotham City Chronicles arrived today. Hear the game is fiddly and not great but wow the miniatures. And for anyone who missed it on KS, there was an insert that says Season 2 coming June 4. You should be able to get the main game plus new expansions on KS then.
  2. Demon Finn vs Vampire Lashley would have been the perfect ECW on SyFy Main Event...
  3. Haven’t played the SWN system but seems interesting for sure... if any of you guys end up running it, would be curious to hear how the campaign goes...
  4. Jae, did you cannibalize because it was getting no play among your group? Or another reason? i do have a 100% complete copy of Heroquest, which is cool for the collector appeal and the nostalgia but does not hold up all that well as a game... ETA actually IIRC I need to replace the gargoyle’s wings
  5. Haven’t tried FG but used to be pretty active on Roll20. YMMV but I found it great for virtual private games with long distance friends but found that public games I joined were almost always a bust... Hope your experience is good...
  6. Right there with you Craig - I am currently thinking about investing to add Descent to my (admittedly insane) tabletop dungeon crawler collection. Basically it is about the only mainstream DC I don’t yet have. And yes it appears as though my investment would be significant to acquire many of the expansions to go with the base game. Haven’t played it but if I do take the plunge will let you know... For or those who haven’t seen it, I love this thread: https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1848358/dungeon-crawler-collector-2019
  7. Tap Sports Baseball released for US customers today. Anyone here play TSB? Intend to play TSB '19?
  8. I missed the KS for Book It! and have been waiting for it to be available for pre-order, which it now is. https://foamhammergames.com/product/book-it-preorder/ Its Facebook page has a lot of information including info on playtesting it on Tabletop Simulator: https://www.facebook.com/BookItGame/ just figured there might be others around here interested in it also...
  9. Craig, what led you to go with a different organizer than the BT, if you don’t mind me asking?
  10. Finally broke down and grabbed Betrayal Legacy yesterday. Soooooooooooo looking forward to this one...
  11. RE: Gloomhaven = Everyone i know loves it with one exception. It can turn into a math exercise if players let it... From all accounts, that seems to make it less enjoyable for players... otherwise, keep that from happening too frequently and it is a blast.
  12. That one is open for late pledges right now... i think they have closed pledges but are taking pre-orders... this one can now be purchased from CMON’s site and has like 150 miniatures total...
  13. It is far from cheap, but I am soooooo close to backing this thing... https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/room17games/tenfold-dungeon-modular-dungeon-crawling-terrain Looks awesome IMO I already basically back just about every dungeon crawler or miniatures game on KS anyway; then they sit in boxes for months before getting any use usually :(
  14. @Craig H you playing Gloomhaven yet? Backed it on KS a few years ago.... incredible game. @Oyaji there was ways to get cheaper miniatures for starters, especially via eBay... Mage Knight and WizKids lots are abundant and make a great intro to miniatures for campaigns (and are pre-painted)... also board games like Massive Darkness or other CMON properties often come with over a hundred unpainted minis.
  15. Anyone play Supershow, TV Pro Wrestling or any of the Filsinger games? Any preference? It seems as though Supershow is really only playable multi-player while the others are better as solo games? There is also apparently a new card game named Book It! coming out this year... seems interesting.
  16. I am a technology Executive in the Financial Service / FinTech space... Which basically means I get pretty decent money to attend 10 hours of mind-numbing meetings a day...
