  1. I always liked Madden as Reuben Kincaid, the guy who was the manager on the Partridge Family. I always bought him as a guy who could've been kinda sleazy but felt like he had to do right by this family trying to make ends meet. Of course I also understood the relationship between Reuben and Danny Partridge as 2 conmen trying to out con one another. Madden had his moments as being pretty darn funny. James
  2. I am actually kinda stoked for Heisei V. Showa We already got Ichigo and the original Faiz in it. I'm hoping for the impossible and we somehow get Takeru Satoh in there and the original Kuuga (neither have a remote chance of happening) James
  3. I liked Children of Earth quite a bit. Miracle Day, however, bored the living fuck out of me. James

"You gonna make me do the paperwork?" was my Givens line of the night. Solid episode. Good to see Loretta again but she is a devious little shit James
  5. OH MY GOD YES~! http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Batman-DVDs-Planned/19353 Batman on DVD... FINALLY~! James
  6. What if its a swerve and we're getting the return of Walter West? James
  7. Well we already had the Idea of Quantum Leap with Hulk Hogan pitched in the main wrestling thread. I'm also for The Sheild starring i na new version of Airwolf! James
  8. We had a dedicated thread for New Girl on the old board. More than a few people were fans James
  9. Its Kit Cloudkicker at 35! James
  10. Boneless, skinless chicken breasts are the work of the devil. Use thigh meat. It all boils down to what you prefer. I have no beef with boneless breast meat but thigh meat won't cost you as much and is equally good. The batch I made tonight was thigh meat btw... James
  11. That's only because he isn't wearing the classic green "I'm not wrestling tonight" mask James
  12. Nothing new. Remeber the dueling asteroid movies? The three undersea movies! Etc The 2 Wyatt Earp movies? I don't care what anyoen says, Costner's Wyatt Earp is fantastic and underappreciated! James
  13. I think one of the things I lament is the loss of the recipe thread from the old board (along with The BBQVERSITY thread, which hopefully can get restarted). That being said, here is my recipe for Cheezy Chicken, Artichoke & Spinach Bake Ingredients 2lbs of boneless Chicken (breasts or thighs) cut into strips 1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese 1 Cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese 1./2 Cup grated Parmesan 2 Cups Sour Cream 1 8 oz Package of Cream Cheese 1 12 oz can artichoke hearts (or you can use fresh if you prefer) 1 8 oz can of mushrooms (again fresh is good) 1 package of frozen leaf or creamed spinach 1 tsp Red Pepper Flake 4 Tbsp minced garlic 2 tubes Pillsbury Grand Rolls (or suitable equivalent) Instructions Preheat Oven to 400 F Take 3 cap fulls of vegetable oil and pour into hot skillet. Once oil is heated properly add 4 Tbsp of garlic. Once garlic is heated/toasted add chicken. Cook chicken through on mMedium High until cooked all the way through. You can leave it unattended if necessary, just check on it while prepping the other things. Once fully cooked drained excess grease/juice and l;et stand 10 minutes. Open can of Artichoke Hearts, drain liquid and put in large mixing bowl, do same with mushrooms (again drain liquid). Add Cream Cheese and Sour Cream. Stir contents until everything is fully incorporated. Next fold in Parmesan and Mozzarella cheeses until fully blended. Add chicken to mixture and stir, making sure chicken is covered in cheese mixture and incorporated with spinach/artichokes and mushrooms. Add Red Pepper flake. Pour into baking/casserole dish (I use an 8x12). Spread to make as even as possible. Now take your 2 tubes of rolls, separate the rolls and place them on top of Chicken/Artichoke/Mushroom/Spinach/Creamy mixture. Bake 30 minutes then take out of oven and sprinkle 1 cup Cheddar Cheese on top before returning to oven for another 30 minutes. End Result Half of this is already gone since I served it to my roommates. Even my one friend who doesn't like greens devoured this. Its really quite tasty. James
  14. Wow... I forgot Zero1 was even still in existence! James
  15. But isn't the point of Spider-Man that he is someone just getting by in all facets of his life yet still keeping his moral compass? If Doc Ock is a better Spider-Man by being a bit more ruthless it defeats the point of the character's purpose James
  16. Toyota out Toyota'd herself on that one James
  17. I was bored and wanted to try something new on Netflix and "Endeavour". Basically tried it on a whim and discovered its a prequel to Inspector Morse, which was always one of those PBS Msytery shows I kind of blew off in the 90s. 3 episodes deep and I'm really enjoying it so far. The Opera Killer episode is kind of predictable but the first 2 episodes are reall good "Whodunnit?" mysteries. Needless to say I'll be watching the rest of season 1 of Endeavour. James
  18. OZ and Kudo had a few matches against each other, a couple of tags and the barbed Wire match. Ther was something to build off of James
  19. His style was great o nthat, especially when they did the Impulse/LSH team-up issues. I wanted a whole Impulse/XS spinoff series! James
  20. I figured it was either Brother Bruti or Mean Gene James
  21. Who is Al to Hogan's Sam though? Does "Oh Boy!" get replaced with "Oh Brother"? Is Piper the evil leaper? So many questions! James
  22. I used to love Ramos when he did Impulse and then... he just seemed to devolve more and more. James
  23. And don't forget the time in 1974 when the Undertaker dropped him on his head. I've always entertained the notion that Hogan is a time leaper and that's the reason his recollection of timelines is spotty. Also drugs. And so Dr. Bollea finds himself leaping from life to life, striving to put right what once was wrong, and hoping each time that his next leap will be the leap home? James
