  1. Went Becky. Having an emotional attachment to a character is often just as important as in ring work, to me. I enjoy Meiko, but a lot of it is in a vacuum.
  2. I beat Xavier Woods at NFL Blitz at my arcade this year and he was the coolest dude. Gracious with his time, zero ego. Just the best. But, I beat him at a video game, so he's a fraud. Vote Sasha.
  3. Within this voting year? The grudge I hold was during the voting period. That counts.
  4. Went Mastiff. Because imagine we put a mask on him and made him Mil instead of Mesias. It'd be rad.
  5. You know wrestling isn't real, right? Shhhhhh. She'll hear you. She hears everything.
  6. I honestly don't get the "Brock style" argument. He set up a style against Cena, used it against mid-carders and lower, but every other match has been the psychology of overcoming this rampaging monster who just wants to drive you into the ground. It's pretty great story. They establish a guy's style, have him reinforce it with the occasional squash, then have higher card wrestlers have to game plan against that style.
  7. In my headcanon, she did when she was making her getaway from the great Walmart robbery I think that was outside the voting period though. Also, that's how I picture it went down now, too. She's Australian, so it was probably exactly like Mad Max: Fury Road.
  8. I'd argue the Corbin/Rhyno match was at least close. Different atmospheres and situations for storytelling, sure. But it's not far off, work-wise.
  9. Hero's got a good gimmick where he's a feared striker. Asuka is a feared striker because she's a god damned cyborg programmed to maul. Hero had a better resume; voted Asuka because I don't want to die by her hand.
  10. Pentagon lit someone on fire this year. Did Emma? Vote Pentagon.
  11. I love Brock and I'm always happier when he's around, but I actually miss AA when they're gone.
  12. Well, you did ask for it. Seriously, I'd be fine with either guy moving on. If i have to choose I'll go with Dragon Lee. But really, I'd rather go for seeing these two having an epic match, if it hasn't happened already it should. I'd be lying if I said I didn't think this would happen... Anyway, I'm still stuck. I may call in sick to work tomorrow and watch these two all day.
  13. I just assume it's a zeppelin or one of those bikes with the big front wheel.
  14. Voted Cuerno because he drives a sweet ass pickup and Becky doesn't.
  15. Dude's a legit caveman. I mean, c'mon. What else do you want?
  16. I love both and I think I need swayed. Someone woo me!
  17. I voted Roman because not only has he been good-great in ring for a bulk of the year, he also is a guy who provokes what I feel is a kind of fascinating discussion of how to succeed in pro wrestling. This may seem sarcastic, but I love all the talk and think pieces and psychoanalysis about his push and him getting rammed to the top no matter what we think. It's just something I don't think I've ever seen to this level. But also, he's good at wrestling.
  18. This is New Day, all day, but Mundo's great half of a season of LU should be appreciated if nothing else because of just how bad Morrison was compared to how wonderful Mundo is.
  19. Nakamura is a beautiful flower that should be treated like the Mona Lisa and encased in glass so we don't lose him. I always kind of hated Steen. Just didn't get him, I guess. Owens, though, he speaks to me. He is this overweight, angry dad who hates all of us and only loves his family. It's a beautiful character and one I can relate. I just don't think he's better than Nakamura.
  20. Meh, I'll just say I should've used more words in the original post and just move on with my life.
  21. Is it considered gauche to respond to closed threads here? I just noticed further information was requested of a comment I made regarding Jim Breaks and Zack Sabre Jr.
  22. I'm voting for UG based 100% on the Escorpion match posted in his previous thread that I've now watched 26 times.
