  1. I guess outside of presentation, I just cant see it. I love Luke Harper more than I love one of my kids, but I just don't see the matches outside of the EC that beats Galloway's TNA work or his Evolve work. He isn't perfect by any means, but really, I just don't see the body of work from the Wyatts that tops Galloway's.
  2. I know it's early, but someone is going to have to explain to me, in depth, why you'd vote for The Wyatts. Galloway was hurt for a bit, but he has good to great work in a variety of different styles and The Wyatts don't.
  3. Dunne should take this because as great as the Hardys have been as characters, they're kinda hard to watch in a regular match. They both move like they're in pain all the time and it makes me sad.
  4. This is Meiko because she was great more often than Cena was.
  5. This one is a no brainer to me: Reigns. Nak was frustrating all year while Reigns was consistently good-great in ring all year.
  6. I wouldn't even say I watched a ton, I just kept giving him chances because it looks like he could be something, eventually, and he just isn't yet. My fault, really.
  7. Man, we've come to a time in history where Miz vs Rush is really debatable. What a time to be alive. I actually think I need swayed one way or the other.
  8. My gut says UG, but then I realized I'd been watching DL in ROH mainly and need to fix that.
  9. In all honesty, it just feels like Davey Richards 2.0 where a ton of people want to convince me he's good because of flash and I hate it. He's bad. Real bad. Put on the damn glasses, Keith David, and see what I see!
  10. Cena's highs were higher and he's better and I'm heartbroken of what's become of Bayley.
  11. I almost voted Roode just on my sheer disappointment of Nak, but upon analyzation, Nak was better this year. I think it's closer than the score will show, though.
  12. Even if Galloway wasn't great, and he is, he'd get my vote due to my utter disdain of Will Ospreay. Dude doesn't understand who he is as a character, spams moves that only hit a portion of the time and has a smug, unlikable persona but is consistently positioned as a face. He's a hell of an athlete and I hope he figures it out, but for now I hope he burns in hell.
  13. I voted Hechicero for two reasons. One, he's been great all year consistently against a variety of people and you can point to a lot of times where Omega takes a night off. Omega's highs were higher, but I think his lows were lower. That said, I think Omega is way better than he was even 18 months ago. Secondly, this is a protest vote towards Meltzer's army. I am tired of people (including some of my closest friends) that think because I think Omega vs Okada was great but flawed means I hated it and that I don't know what I'm talking about. So now I hate that match in a way I've never hated a match in my life.
  14. AJ was the best wrestler of the year but I voted Braun because I'm scared of him and I know AJ will win.
  15. When you guys lay out your anti-Revival propaganda I will fight you until my last breath. I also saw them at a house show and it ruled.
  16. I agree with this and I don't really like the formula. Rare is the time when an Okada match is done where I think "Man, Okada was great in this!" Also the Rainmaker as a finisher can get bent.
  17. I did. If you've got a moment, I'd appreciate it, but if it doesn't change the outcome no big. I suppose I should post why I voted for her, too, and I think a big part is the Io match maciej posted. I'd put it on par with anything anyone in NJPW did and absolutely skunks any and all of Goto's mediocre output.
  18. Hero vs ZSJ was great, but ZSJ didn't work a single match like that again. Every match I see, he's somehow this dominant, indestructible, force despite being built like my 15 year old cousin. LA Park for days.
  19. I've lurked here for decades it seems but rarely post. This tourney makes me happy because in the past I've learned so much from it over the years. It's such an easy place to watch matches of people I didn't know and I point lots of people here when I want them to know about Io Shirai or Black Terry. Anyway, I guess, I get why you'd want to stop. Thanks for being a catalyst in making me a better fan.
  20. I voted Yehi because I really like him and I've also been drinking.
