  1. I have always preferred Nash to Hall. But I saw there’s a big Razor collection that contains lots of matches I’ve never seen. So I’m giving the Bad Guy a chance. The opening vignettes are ridiculous - and awesome AF. Same for the decision to have current Scott Hall kayfabe the segments between clips. It’s so silly that he’s doing this stuff in character, and I can’t help but love it. Now comes his first proper match in the collection, vs Bret at Rumble ‘93.
  2. Beautifully stated. I would like to have seen more of the I’m not supposed to be here today leave me alone you kids Taue that we get a lot of times in the tag matches. Dreamer’s frog splash was nuts. It’s like he forgot what move he was doing, while in mid-air.
  3. Looks like the breakin, which I’ve seen and is of course awesome, was 11/4/96. Was there a feud running before that?
  4. Where do you think is a good place to start an Attitude Era watch thru? I was thinking about starting with the Raw following the Screwjob. But then I miss out on the Shawn/Bret goodness throughout 1997, as well as, I assume, the Austin/Vince foundation. (And also Sunny) So then what? Survivor Series 1996? I’ve seen plenty of the main matches and things from this era, but I’ve never done a proper chronological viewing including Raw.
  5. Hash was all out of bubblegum that day. . .
  6. Not much to see, apart from Dreamer's Taue ring gear cosplay.
  7. Sounds like she did okay for herself, for a nobody friend of a friend.
  8. I’ll check out the street tag. Some good personalities in that one.
  9. Interesting. I was not aware of the Droz injury. From Droz wiki: Because the match was pre-taped, it was not aired to fans during the October 7 [Smackdown] broadcast and has never been shown to the public. However, the footage of him being taken out on a stretcher has been seen in WWE's "Don't Try This at Home" public service announcements. Fellow wrestler Mick Foley recounts in his 2001 book Foley Is Good: And the Real World Is Faker than Wrestling, that he was at the hospital with D'Lo Brown after the match. Brown was extremely upset at what had happened. Foley tells how Droz (on a stretcher) told Brown not to blame himself and that it was an accident. In a 2014 interview with Jim Ross for FOX Sports, Droz said that he still believed that the incident was an accident and holds no animosity towards Brown for his injury. Re Jarrett: I guess a hair-vs-hair match qualifies as making a big deal about it. ?
  10. Watching Feb ‘99 St Valentine’s Day Massacre. I love Mark Henry so much.
  11. Watching Feb ‘99 St Valentines Day Massacre. 1. What ever happened to D’Lo? Just lost in the shuffle, post Invasion? 2. When did Jarrett cut his hair and change his look? I’m guessing late ‘98. Did he make a big deal about it? 3. Was Ryan legit Shamrock’s sister, or just some hot chick they brought in for the angle?
  12. Watched the Scott Hall photographs episode last night, and I quite enjoyed it. He seems more together than I have seen him in years. He also seems quite grateful for the career he had. I appreciated his story about Larry Z helping him in the early days and how he tried to pay it back years later when he was on top at WCW.
  13. I have always liked the WM 11 match Nash vs Michaels. But gracious, these bumps HBK is taking. He’s taken at least three in the first few minutes that allow this match alone to explain his back problems!
  14. Even if I didn't like the song, her Margot Tennenbaum cosplay wins. But I do like the song.
  15. 1989 stayed in my truck CD player for months. I am not ashamed. I did not care as much for the new one on initial listen. (first TSwizz album I have not purchased) But later, "Delicate" really grew on me.
