So, here's an absolutely amazing stat. Had Zane Gonzalez made the FG that eventually would lead to a tie in Week 1, the then 8-7 Browns would have been playing this week for the division title(!!!) against the Ravens. Also, Baker Mayfield has a passer rating of 95.1, that's second best for ANY Cleveland quarterback since 1961 (Testaverde, 95.4) The Browns have ALSO won as many games with Hue Jackson as they have against him this season. And then this moment from last weekend. No, not the staredown, but that was awesome....

I finally watched this week over a couple of runs at the gym. I have to say, I really liked the story they were telling in Shaffir/Duke & Shirai/Kai. These two overconfident big gals, who have never been outmatched at anything, go in cocky as hell against two smaller, but much more experienced, wrestlers. And then proceed to get their clocks cleaned because they were not expecting it to be so tough. Shirai & Kai did everything right: poking and prodding around, finding a weakness (inability to chain/over-reliance on strength/inexperience as a team), and exploit it for the win. Duke & Shaffir will be perfectly fine, but obviously they're not naturals at this as Baszler & Rousey are.

Holiday weekend, probably a bunch of people aren't around. Aquaman was a fuckton of fun. About as perfect a representation of Arthur's story as there has been. Following up, Magary apparently fell and began choking on his own blood after the Deadspin awards and nearly died. He had life saving surgery and was unconscious for a week. Thankfully he's up and about. He relayed all the details via his twitter.

I'd say Riddle is a hair too new and they still want to wash the Bellator off him Of the NXT women, I'd hazard a guess that 3 of these: Baszler, Shirai, Bianca Belair, Candice LaRae, or Kairi. It should be noted that the city of Oakland is currently suing the shit out of the Raiders, and the LV Raiders have in return ripped up their lease for the Oakland Coliseum, and there's a non-zero chance that the Raiders will be playing somewhere else beginning next season instead of 2020 as was the original plan. Possible 2019 sites include Levi's Stadium, San Diego, Reno(?!), San Antonio (lol no), Glendale, and a nearby college stadium (Cal, Stanford, Rose Bowl(LOL no)). Or, as is the most likely scenario, the Raiders shut up, settle and limp through next year in Oakland before crowds of 8000 and less.
