  1. Gonna watch B2k tonight. Still remember showing it to a friend and for months afterward beginning every phone call with one of us saying "Who is number 1?"
  2. Would it suprise you the last time someone asked me for a lemon at work I brought them a lime? True story
  3. People forget about the "Resthold Randy" years.
  4. Not downing their looks for a second but way too much lime yellow.
  5. Samaritan Zatoichi was my favorite and Zatoichi versus One Armed Swordsmen is pretty good.
  6. Some revisionist history as far Cena/Rock goes. Cena had to resort to trotting out thuganomics for a week and other then that he had nothing but the "your part time im full time but" crap that people like Ambrose use on Cena now. Rock's return was all about his charisma which he had more then both guys combined.
  7. Rip. Dont remember his finish or the green tongue just the turnbuckle eating and the fact he was living proof of Darwin in how much he looked like an ape. Perfect gimmick worked to perfection.
  8. Scott Steiner would flip out when they arrived with plastic silverware and utensils if he was still with the company. Nice to see Kingston is the designated jobber of DCC.
  9. Pretty sure an actual human being died filming that scene as well but of course was thankfully not shown in the film. You guys should watch Jet Li's debut film Shaolin Temple. Their is a scene where he accidentally suffocates his "love interest's" dog under his bed sheet when she makes it chase him and he winds up back at the temple and has to try and hide when a high up monk comes snooping...Cut to the next scene at night and Jet is cooking the dog in the woods outside and is quickly found by his fellow monks and teacher who all proceed to eat the dog for the obligatory "oh the monks are eating meat" scene in every Shaolin movie ever. Oh yea and his teacher who munches out on the dog too is the father of the "love interest". Different times/culture I know and it sounds worse typed out(the dog spends 2 seconds under the sheet and you never see it laying there dead and the night scene starts with whatever Jet is cooking in the woods cooked black and not in the shape of a dog)but yea.
  10. We come for the wrestling. We put up with Vince's trailer park level entertainment.
  11. I think their grooming Tom for Mauro's spot when Mauro goes to replace Cole. I think in WWE Mauro has been a breath of fresh air and been forced to tone down a lot of things that drove people, myself included, nuts in the past. Tom is like a robot who just straight up reads what is written for him and injects nothing in to his commentary that would make it seem like he cares about anything he's talking about. Otunga makes puppies era Lawler look like Gordon Solie.
  12. I hope so. As far as the Bayley to belly I think it's great. She doesn't give any hints to it and usually hits it out of nowhere and I can't remember anyone countering or resisting it though I haven't seen every match she's ever been in. Plus it's nice that her finish isn't a submission like a lot of the other top women right now.
  13. The best part of this is the random HHH poster someone took the time to frame and then just lean up against the blinds instead of hang on the wall.
  14. Rosa probably counts total divas as well as her in ring. The answer to David Otunga will always be Jennifer Hudson and even he would admit it. Their was an Apollo Crews match on Smackdown where he said at least three times that if he had half the athletic ability Crews did he would have been world champ which caused JBL to nearly die laughing by the third or fourth time.
  15. All this food talk needs to come full circle with this-
  16. How is it? The one im at actually is pretty good considering it's a hospital. I wisely stay out of there most of the time.
  17. Not suprised Kung Fu Fandom is the only one still around or about the know it all people. I remember when Linn Hayes was like the cool Abbott always passing on every bit of knowledge he'd ever had passed on to him about whatever was being discussed. Then he tragically passed and all that was left on the board were eclectic ppl that liked to be the only person who owned a good copy of a beloved classic or highly sought after rare.
  18. Never heard any of that stuff about Bey. I didn't dislike his commentaries it's just that I am not a big fan of commentary tracks in general. Don't know about FB groups but I was on ADC for a long time and though all the "projects" of movies getting releases that never would were incredible, seeing EVERY commercial release being pilfered on the site as well was always a bit depressing. Is their any place people still go to talk about these films without pirating them? Miss the old days of the kff, kfcc, and adg and cof message boards. Seems like most disappeared or turned in to blogs of some sort.
  19. I remember DD still have a bunch of their dvds. Felt like at the beginning they were trying to make people think they were gonna be an American equivalent of HKL in terms of standards what with Bey Logan and all but felt the problem was, putting aside the fact HKL rarely lived up to the standards they were trying for, Bey had knowledge of the SB movies on commentary but was really a Jackie Chan super fan at heart and not an actual SB fan. That said Shaws never did that great for anyone in the US DVD market even with good cover art and extras thanks to them being a niche market to begin with and one of the ones with the most piracy thanks largely to all the tape trading that went on before they got legit releases and all the piracy that went on after. I remember at the time Celestial basically rescued all these films from what they described as a barn they thought the US tv/video deals would be flowing in like water and they were gonna charge a mint for them but their wasn't any interest and now at least a decade later I can only imagine what kind of pennies on the dollar deal El Rey got from them.
  20. Never had breakfast so maybe that's what i'm missing out on. Had lunch/dinner at least a half a dozen times on road trips and always felt like the food level was above fast food but below an average restaurant in terms of quality.
  21. The thud on that table spot was crazy. Anyone who's ever bonked their head hard enough to produce such a sound knows that wasn't another Cody Rhodes oh he put his hands up deal or wrestling trickery. Just damn. Don't think Cena's replay had sound or probably would have been like damn gonna be sleeping with JCVD tonight.
