Instead of nonsensical name calling and insults provide an argument that refutes what I said. The problem is that you can't. He infuriated the New Japan people with his crap "shoot" angle he didn't tell them about that took all the attention away from the planned angle of Yano stealing the belts. You can tell they were annoyed because New Japan never sent any of their guys over to work ROH shows ever again. Not coincidentally ROH pretty much never drew a good crowd by indie standards ever again.

I was going to explain but if you want to live in your little bubble where you think the only reason people went to ROH shows was to see a couple random NJPW guys then you are too far gone to even try to rationalize with.

But yea sure let me just jump on the bandwagon #Bubba killed ROH

I wish instead of everyone on Twitter tweeting "Fuck Bully Ray" everyone instead pointed out how he really is THE guy most responsible for killing off ROH by pissing off NJPW (having access to their talent was essentially their bread and butter) with his complete idiocy at the MSG Supershow.

This is so dumb I can only not be surprised it came from Twitter.

It was a shit angle but damn can’t believe people are still this butt hurt over it.

3. This was a good flick but could have used about 30 minutes shaved off of the boring first half. Maybe use some of that time to explain in more detail some of the division amongst the machines and infighting after the conclusion of the first movies. Sounded hella interesting from what little we got.

-The new Morpheus was terrible.

-Waaaaaaay too much footage from the original movies.

Doogie Howser killed it though.

Think it's a bit unfair to compare Ospreay to Scurrl, both in terms of their alleged wrongdoings and as wrestlers. I never got the hype for Scurrl as a wrestler, whereas I love Ospreay the wrestler, and don't think he's irredeemable as a person just a bit of a dick who's very good at leaning into the dickishness as a heel.

So give Will a pass because you love his wrestling but not Marty? Got it.

This is goofy

Basically, Bryan Alvarez bashes NXT for not having "realistic" characters.  Cora Jade isn't a skateboarder, Duke Hudson isn't a good poker player, Tony D'Angelo isn't really a goodfella.  I mean, did anyone think D'Angelo was actually a mobster?

I think Alvarez' point was supposed to be that gimmicks like these don't hook young people in 2021, but he never really articulated that well.  Besides, Demon Bray Wyatt sold a ton of merch over the last couple years and the Elite is basically the Bucks and Kenny dialing up their already over-the-top wrestling personas to ridiculous extremes, so it's a debatable point.

Video is still funny, though stuff like this makes me wonder how much of Alvarez' hatred of WWE is genuine and how much him doing a gimmick for the show.  It's probably a little of both.

Eventually he will reach the point of hating everything wrestling that doesn’t involve anyone in basic ring gear.

Vince Russo thinks that Nick Khan & the Rock will eventually buy WWE.  That would be interesting, at least.

Was a little surprised to see a photo of Nick Khan & Rock show up in my Twitter feed.  Apparently they're longtime friends - childhood, maybe? - and Khan's sister is one of Little Rock's producers.

Yup. Read a whole story unrelated to Russo with Rock talking about how Khan would come to Hawaii when they were kids and they’ve been friends ever since.

Anytime I see a story with “Former WWE writer” I automatically know to ignore it because it’s Russo. It’s amazing he EVER had a job in wrestling considering how out of touch with it he has always been.

I haven't watched last night's show yet and am actively avoiding spoilers, so please bear that in mind.

So Hook is really Taz's kid and has never actually wrestled? He's over on here as a joke because he wears a hoodie and eats chips? I'm totally lost.

Yea he’s reached meme status. Whether he actually achieves anything beyond that is up in the air.

The end of the women's WG match came off as really abrupt. I was kind of expecting Cora to get released along with Blake Christian, but I guess they have more plans for her. Of all the relatively fresh faces in the match, Gigi came off as the most impressive. The spot with Raquel stuffing Dakota in a trash can and chucking her around was a nice bit.

The three intermittent matches were fine but not outstanding. Part of me wants Grimes to get called up (I really want to see him and Cesaro have a match) but the other part of me thinks he'd get stuck with some comedy hillbilly gimmick.

I liked the men's match well enough. There weren't any moments that really stood out, but nothing really dumb either. I was kind of expecting Knight to turn or there to be some other type of big angle or post-match fuckery but I guess that's for Tuesday. Once again Bron looked like a boss and the sooner he's shot into the main event picture on any brand the better.

Pretty sure that is already his gimmick.

9. Watching an old Worldwide last night and Brain never disappoints.

Brain: Tony know where “Pitty City” is?

Tony: Where?

Brain: Whichever one the Nasty Boyz are in because I pity the city.

This show also featured Kurosawa and Meng beating the shit out of each other for at least 10 minutes in a non match that both I , Tony and Brain thought was amazing.

Bruce Prichard--"The Red Rooster gimmick was not a burial. It would've worked if he committed to it!"

The Internet--"Imma just leave this here...."

The harder he tries the thicker his accent gets. He could have literally laid an egg their was no way he was getting pushed with a voice that sounds like nails on a chalkboard to Vince.
