The majority of good wrestlers in Sydney over the last 10-15 years have had at least some training from Madison. PWA and their sister fed of Newcastle Pro have produced some absurdly good talents over the years. I'd say between people trained directly or who have spent major time there, Madison has probably had a hand in training 50 good wrestlers in the last 15 years, that might be a bit conservative.

Hartley Jackson would be the other prolific trainer in Australia.

Anyone watch Taichi vs Douki yet? It has a shockingly high rating on Cagematch and apparently a very wholesome birthday party for Miho Abe follows.

Yes. The match is amazing and super emotional. Felt like the big coming out party for DOUKI. Korakuen was packed as well so there was a great atmosphere.

The only thing I can speculate is that large venues are willing to give steep discounts to anyone willing to run them right now, and/or New Japan thinks they’ll have some favors in hand when things return to normal.

They are doing super super deep discounts. Especially a place like Seibu Dome which isn't near anything really.

Thanks, I signed up for it, and watched an hour so far of the show. I don't know why but I've always been fascinated with the company since its inception. I just wish they had more older stuff to stream.

Owned by G+ is the issue.

Is it worth ordering a replay of the PPV from last night?

They had the English feed as well. And yes the show was great. The last 4 matches in particular. Muta match started slow but was fantastic after the first 10 or so. Fujita-Sugiura was the match of the night.

You've got to be kidding me. There is seriously a guy who wrestles in all that makeup? Do they just airbrush him before every match? How long has this idea been around? So many questions...

It's just the once to promote the movie release on DVD.

  7. I was totally outraged by the idea of the match, and that turnbuckle spot still makes me sort of uncomfortable. But watching the match you see that A: Haruka is having the time of her life, and B: Kenny Omega genuinely cares for, and tries to protect Haruka at all costs, it's less terrible. It's not really that different than play wrestling with a younger sibling/cousin except you're not actually trying to hurt them

Kenny Omega is so super safe with her, it's a testament to him as a worker how he gets it all over on so little. I wouldn't be shocked if the turnbuckle run was all the kid and looked 10000 times worse than it was.
