  1. Cody/Roman can end so many different ways and they’re all quite interesting. Cody wins and Rock turns sets up Roman/Rock nicely or Cody wins and Rock stays heel taking over the Bloodline also sets up Roman to turn face and reclaim the Bloodline. Roman winning is very unlikely but you could have Seth turning on Cody or Drew costing Cody , turning either into the biggest heel ever. I see a lot of people fantasy booking Austin or Cena coming out to help Cody but I think that dilutes it a bit whatever the result, just leave the players involved now finish it out, they’ve done a great job so far. Roman needs a big moment this week or next, he’s after getting lost in the shuffle because of The Rock which could also have been part of the plan who knows.
  2. Main segment definitely felt off near the end part of it was the crowd being dead but it felt like they forgot a cue or something. I thought this was Cody’s worst showing in a while.
  3. What are the chances (if any) Roman retains?
  4. Seeing Okada sad makes me sad, I’m a bit out of the loop but I presume he would have stayed if NJPW could afford it? Will be interesting to see how AEW handle him and Ospreay but I’d prefer to see Kazu get his Mania moment dream.
  5. That was perfect. So many places they can go with this before and after Mania. Seth looks like such a dork in all of this.
  6. I feel so bad for Cody and I don’t even like him. This is a 100% power move from The Rock. I know this is easy to say now but I’ve found anything he’s done wrestling wise in the past 10+ years to be cringey and disingenuous, the whole “I’ve got goosebumps” seems to be forced. “I started off with $7 in my pocket” “I had a moustache when I was 6” blah blah blah, all ego stroking. The most worrying part of all this is that he has Gerwitz back as his creative rep, god only knows what his next power move will be.
  7. They were really clutching at straws for that Cody/Punk segment and still managed to go down the “MY/YOUR FATHER WAS DUSTY RHODES” route. It did get a bit interesting at the end though. Hopefully we get full on dickhead heel Punk as a challenger for Cody down the line.
  8. The ‘head of the table’ line and the reaction to it was great. Just simple and effective, job done. Let the hype begin.
  9. Jericho is the worst. One thing I can never understand about AEW and their YouTube channel is that instead of posting snippets of segments or matches they post the WHOLE thing. What entices people to watch Dynamite live or even attend if you know you can watch more or less the whole show an hour after??
  10. A big question that needs to be answered.............. How is Jericho going to latch on to Punks crest of a wave?
  11. I think (and hope) what happened over the weekend lights a fire under Tony and AEWs top players asses. Just go balls out and make the product as hot as it was a year and a half ago, there are some things they can’t do on the same level as WWE but if they focus on what works for them it should make it a great time for fans.
  12. It’s win-win for WWE, either it works out and becomes a great business decision or it doesn’t, he’s fired and they still have the top stars to carry on without him. He’s gonna be on a very short leash you’d imagine, be interesting what he has to say about Khan etc if he’s allowed.
  13. Great to see MJF booked so strong, he needed it after a couple of weak showings Hard to see how Jay White comes back from that. The Maxiverse is alive and well brother.
  14. All In thoughts; Punk being 42 and still starting/being involved in this shit is laughable. That said his match with Joe was great. FTR/Bucks was made for this stage. Jay White is the man and should be AEW champ. Seeing Sting come out to Seek & Destroy and get a great reaction warms the heart. He deserves every bit of it. I would run through a wall after hearing “ITS SHOWTIME”. Chills. Ospreay/Kenny III should main event Wembley next year, good on TK for booking the venue again, go big or go home. All he needs to do now is get a big tv deal and get rid of Punk. Weeks like this are why I hate the likes of Sean Ross Sapp and others,”he said, she said, I heard this, I heard that” shut the fuck up dude. Pro wrestling is great at the minute, let’s enjoy that.
  15. Ospreay is my wrestler and promo* of the year. Has really upped his game and has a great presence. As much as we all bitch about Jericho shoe-horning himself into everything this should be a great match and if he does the job it’s a great way to put Ospreay over…….if. *Im basing this on the promo he cut against Omega in January and not last night BRUV.
  16. A 42 year old Punk holding grudges like he does is either admirable or patethic whatever way you look at it. I’m 35 and too tired to hold grudges Punk seems like the guy to take a shit on your doorstep 3 years after you cut him off in traffic.
  17. Didn’t see much of the show but from what I did see- Corey Graves having to explain to the audience the vest Rollins was wearing was so corny. “He’s the MASTER OF THE MIND GAMES COLE!!!” The Rollins shtick as a whole is unbearable
  18. If Logan Paul was full time he should be the next big heel world champion on Raw, he’s a natural. Brock beating the snot out of Cody gets pretty dull when it’s done every 2nd week since April.
  19. While I wouldn’t say it’s my favourite show ever, I have fully accepted the Gemstones into my life. Praise be to He.
  20. I’m on ep 5 of season 1, I’m enjoying it but I’m still waiting for it to really grab me. Will stick with it.
  21. Here to recommend The Deepest Breath on Netflix. It’s the story about a free-divers attempt to become a record holder and so much more. Really enjoyed it.
  22. The Bear. Season 2. Ep 6. Holy Shit. On a seperate note, is Righteous Gemstones worth sticking with? I remember not thinking much of the first ep of season one.
