I went with the Jericho vs Bandido match in the end. I just really enjoyed it.

I might give that a watch. I haven't watched NJPW in a few years now.

Jericho Vs Bandido will be a hard one to beat this week I think.

You could say that Vince was looking to replace Hogan sooner then that with him wanting to make Tom Magee his next Hogan. He settled on Ultimate Warrior but Tom Magee was his original choice I think.

Ludvig Borga the original Next Big Thing. He should of been pushed like how Brock Lesnar was. We should of had Luger Vs Borga at Summerslam instead of Yokozuna.

I think the fans like his new look and gimmick maybe?

I enjoyed the mixed tag match on AEW Elevation. Kip Sabian is over with the crowd.

I voted for Jungle Boy Jack Perry Vs Rey Fenix in the end as I really enjoyed that match and even though it was a good week for wrestling matches I just couldn't get into the other matches.

Don't get me wrong I love both companies tag division. I just seem to enjoy WWE's tag team matches more then the AEW's stuff lately. I do love the Acclaimed though. I also do enjoy Private Party's entrance. I wish I had their rhythem lol.

I might be the minority here but I think WWE's tag team division is better then AEW's. I know AEW have 3 great tag teams in the Young Bucks, FTR and The Lucha Bros but I think WWE having Imperium back they are starting to get a really good tag divsion. I also think The Uso's don't get enough credit from wrestling fans as being a great tag team. You also have The Brutes, New Day, Street Profits as well. I also like Gable and Otis's team. If you would of asked me even 6 months a go I would of said AEW's tag division is so much stronger but not now.

I want AEW to change Kenny Omega's gimmick into a zombie now he has been bitten and have the Elite and Kenny bite people to turn them into zombies. They can culiminate with a big 10 man tag at the show nearest to Halloween.

I went for Danielson Vs Jericho in the end after rewatching both this match and the Moxley Vs Guavara match. I just think Danielson Vs Jericho slightly beats it but either one of these matches is good enough to win the poll this week.

The Elite is the DNA of AEW. It wouldn't be AEW without The Elite in my opinion.

This is my choice for match of the week so far. Such a great mesh up of styles.

If Tony is ever able to get a tv deal for ROH then he should have CM Punk the face of ROH for the next 12 monthes at least to build the brand up and keep him away from The Elite etc. Also we could finally get Punk Vs Samoa Joe again. Colt Cabana can move back to AEW and have him back with the Dark Order.

I went back and forth but I decided on Eddie Kingston Vs Tomohiro Iishi in the end as it was just so much fun and I love a good chopfest. Imperium Vs The Brutes was also very good.

I aint watched NXT since the first episode of 2.0. I might give it a watch now that NXT UK has gone?

Rumour that Punk could be fired today ... From Fighful: SRS has heard from reputable sources who have said they heard Punk was injured in the melee, though no one has outright told him to SRS definitively states that Punk was "absolutely wrong" about the Elite leaking the Colt Cabana rumor to him, Dave, or Bryan SRS says he sat on a story for 3 months that AEW talent had felt that Punk had cost Cabana his job and that the Bucks were the ones to save it. He reached out to Cabana for confirmation, who essentially told SRS that he didn't want to talk about Punk or the situation, so SRS was hesitant to publish w/o confirming SRS says that no one is rushing to his DMs to defend Punk, though there are people who see his side SRS says people believe Steel will try to get his job back at NXT but that's not expected to happen after the melee SRS got a phone call from a very well-connected person in wrestling at 5 AM that Punk was under the impression that he was going to be let go. SRS noted that this person never broke news to him before. SRS makes the point that Punk wants everything to be covered fairly yet won't talk to the media SRS is asked about the Brian Last report that multiple people were suspended and that Punk/Omega talked. SRS says information is all over the map: he's heard Steel has been fired, Punk is supposed to have a meeting today and was expecting to be fired, etc. but cannot verify anything as of yet SRS thinks that WWE will at least reach out to Punk if he were to be let go from AEW and see if an agreement could be made SRS says that if he were Tony he would quickly launch an investigation and found out who was at fault in totality, especially with the physical aspect, and then suspend talent and fire Ace Steel SRS spoke with a top WWE talent that said they need AEW to thrive for the sake of the entire industry and fear another monopoly even with HHH at the helm SRS says the call he got last night implied that WBD(Warner Brothers) was not happy

AEW need to turn a negative into a positive and build a fued between Punk Vs The Elite. Punk could have FTR and Wardlow align with him. Punk also needs to turn heel. It's time for him to be a heel as he is happier playing a heel and his babyface run is coming to an end I think. I think they need to have Punk lose the title to MJF at Full Gear and then go off at The Elite the next Dynamite show and they can build up a nice 3-6 month fued with CM Punk Vs Kenny Omega being the end result. I would have MJF have a fued with Eddie Kingston.

Eddie Kingston Vs Iishi will be my choice for this week unless something spectacular comes along.

I went with Trent Severn Vs Tyler Bate cos I enjoyed the match and I also felt a personal connection to the match as I have been to watch Trent and Tyler wrestle live for many years and I am glad they got to play out the storyline like they did and I think it is great that they got to have the last ever NXT UK match.
