As unlikable as Bischoff & Conrad normally come off together, the Collision in Korea episode is legitimately fascinating. I tend to believe Eric more the further away he is from defending Hogan or any inexplicably shitty decision he made during his tenure, and his recollection of the trip to Pyongyang is fairly riveting stuff...

Just to carry this over from April: the only thing that could’ve made that Jon Moxley video better is if it were set to “Welcome to the Jungle.”

Lol. The sad thing is I’d watch Styles do just about anything. But Seth Rollins is contraception for my wrestling viewing habits. Even Roman has an interesting story now, and his delivery on promos is engaging, even if the material given to him is mashed ass. Seth Rollins can’t make bad material good, and can’t elevate any program he’s in with his work or promos. Yet he’s the crowned one. I don’t understand it.

That might be true, but during the boom periods, were the top guys the best workers, or the guys who could talk em into the building? I don’t think it’s a coincidence that there’s less interest in their product than ever while the least interesting personalities are holding some of their top spots.

I will never for the life of me understand watching a promo of his and a promo of Rollins’ and thinking Rollins is the guy to build the show around. I hope Moxley lights the world on fire, just to stick it up everyone’s ass how undervalued he was...

I said it in the AEW thread when it came out Ambrose was leaving; he’s staring down the pac/page winner. This feels like a big deal. As bad as Wwe is right now, he could put a lot of eyes on the product of competing companies....

Legit happy for Dana Brooke. She seems like a lovely person who has worked hard to get better. She won’t win, but it’s a cool thing for her that she is in this match. I hate it for Ruby Riott, though, especially since I thought she’d be a good choice to win...

Son of a bitch! I forgot the hammer shaking and it flying to Cap! That got a big-assed pop too. Also, Drax stabbing the fuck out of Thanos' minions into and out of frame got a huge laugh.

Biggest "mark out" moments in my theatre: 1. SpiderMan returns. I popped. 2. Ant Man punching the shit out of that worm-cruiser. 3. "Avengers! Assemble." 4. Quill singing and dancing w no music. That shit got me. I laughed. 5. Like 5 different things Rocket Raccoon said that I can't remember. 6. The "fat guy Thor" reveal. 7. "I could do this all day." 8. Falcon coming in on Cap's headset for the first time. I was happy to see him and Bucky. And the Guardians. And Valkyrie. Damn she's fly. I forgot, but somewhere between 2-4: "Girl Power."

Title changes I’ve seen; i can only remember one, but I was at the Georgia Dome the night Goldberg went over Hogan. Up to that point, best day of my life.

I get it, but Buddy Murphy is on Smackdown and they see Alexa as a star. Getting Becky to Raw to feud with Lacey and getting Alexa, Charlotte, Bayley, and Asuka feuding for the title on Smackdown helps both brands.

I wonder if Charlotte loses, but leaves Becky laying, and the MITB winner runs out to cash in. Now Becky has a brand and Smackdown has a full-time champ. In that instance, Alexa would probably be best.

@RIShanethat’s a good point. I hadn’t considered that. I thought Bayley looked the best she has in months, and she’s been trending up since January. I have no real evidence to back this up, other than teaching mma for s year or so now, but Bayley seems to let her feet get lazy at times. She was crisp and the match wasn’t technically perfect, but the slight flubs seemed to add to the intensity of the struggle. Hopefully she’ll get a better spot moving forward.

I do wonder if there was a singular event that shifted Vince’s thinking from “these two are getting a long run” to “not only are they losing the titles, but we’re splitting them up.” Seems fishy.

That would be a cool aesthetic for AEW. This shotgun Saturday night/street fighter 2 kinda feel with exotic locales for cards. Couldn’t do it all the time, but would be a good way to change it up.
