So I'm taking my kid out to eat yesterday, and she notices the "bat-signal" lights in the sky and she really thinks that it's the Afro Circus coming to town.
I just didn't have the heart to tell a 4 year old that those lights were coming from the local nudie bar...

Fuck death and fuck holidays. My just aunt passed away last Monday, and as we're preparing for her funeral, we get a call from my other aunt that my grandfather, who has been in a hospital/nursing home since last month, is set to go in days. He's hovering above the 100 lb. range and the aunt and uncles made a judgement call to not give him a feeding tube, and to make him as comfortable as possible for his final journey. We were told that once they finally broke it to him that my aunt died, he stopped eating and was despondent. I had been taking care of my granddad for the past two years and just moved out this summer so I could focus on my daughters' issues, but I feel guilty in a way, even though I shouldn't, plus the fact that my grand is 86 and has been bedridden for the past 8 years. I have absolutely no holiday cheer right now and I'm really sad the my last paternal figure is about to go. I understand the cycle of life and all that shit, but damn...it's tough seeing me and my family a wreck like this.

My favorite GAEA match ever. I had the whole 4/4 show on tape, but I lost it. Anyway, I believe this is Satomura's first pinfall victory over Kong, and Aja is PISSED about it, as she tries to murder Satomura after the match. Watch for the great wrestling, stay for the audiences pop at the pinfall.

Turns out you have been a dick.
And I'll sleep fine tonite regardless. I'm not speaking about people paying their respects because he lost his life, rather I'm talking about all the "I'll always love him for this role", bullshit. I'm positive that I'm putting this up way too soon, but the hypocrisy around here is too much sometimes. And really FSW, you really shouldn't be the one calling someone out on being anything. It's that whole pot/kettle thing.

Overall I think the PPV wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. My thoughts:
-Are they setting KOFI up for the heel turn?
-5-on-5 elimination tag was great. Glad to see Reigns come out of this looking like a star. My issue with Reigns is, besides having a good look and that damn spear, what else does he have that would make him the top man in WWE? I'm borderline convinced that most of you are just smitten with him.
-Diva's tag was okay for what it was. LULZ @ Eva Marie. She's just awful.
-My favorite match of the night was Punk/Bryan vs. Wyatt Family. This came off as old school tagging to me with Punk/Bryan as the Rock n Roll Express and the Wyatts as the Russians. And for all his faults(being green), Erick Rowan came off looking good. He doesn't have to do much, but what he did was good.
-ADR vs. Cena? Meh....
-I fell asleep before the main...and boy am I glad I did.

Madcap put me on to Brainsmasher and I haven't looked back. Andrew Dice Clay at his most PG, Chinese 'ninjas,' Teri Hatcher running around the Pacific Northwest in high heels. A really fun movie.
If I can convert one person to the awesomeness of Brainsmasher, then I have done my job.
Also, I will defend Grown Ups and Project X to my last breath.
