  1. I thought last night's show was all right. I get the criticism of the Jack Perry promo. I think, Anna Jay has referred to herself as a bad bitch in promo's before. But the line did seem out of nowhere. AEW's biggest problem in my view has always been they think we all ready know these things. The internet is a small portion of the audience so only a small portion would even know that Jack and Anna are a couple. Now if they want to put them together on screen maybe they'll have something.

In other news, I can't believe how crazy Sting is at 64.

Also, this battle bowl esq tag team tournament is stupid. Okay, MJF/Cole are working as partners that hate each other. But putting Lee/Swerve as a team is just dumb. Especially since we've never even gotten a pay off to that feud.

  2. I thought it was a great show. I'm shocked that Okada tapped out. Yeah, Bryan should not have done the convulsions but what can you do. He knows how to screw with people's emotions.

Kenny vs. Osprey was an amazing match. I can only imagine what they'll do if they have a trilogy match especially at All In.

I'd be surprised if that happens. Feels like Knight has to win MITB with how over he is.

He might be over, but the machine in charge doesn't want him. I'm holding out hope for LA Knight to win as well, but I can see Damien Priest being the safe pick for them instead.

  4. Well that was a really good episode of smack down from last night. I did not see that ending coming. It was beautiful. Jey was firing on all cylinders especially when he went all personal about how his brother was prom king. He really had me going till the very end.

    Excellent work.

  5. Last night was a pretty good show. Loved the chaotic ending with Eddie Kingston and Will Osprey showing up. Cole vs. MJF was a good match. Only wished they played up the time left in the match a bit more like they did in the old days. Gary Michael Cappetta counting down how much time was left and the heel champion desperate to ride out the clock was always good television.

I was in denial but, other people were pointing out that didn't look like he was clean the first week or two that he was back on TV. They obviously like the guy and he was almost immediately put back in matches  with the Bloodline so that's crazy if true

The other day I saw a pic on twitter of him on the red carpet for some adult awards show. I was wondering who in the WWE PR department okay'ed that one.

  7. Really good show tonight. Orange Cassidy continues to be impressive as hell. I thought tonight for sure he was losing and yet he continues to reign.

BCC vs. CHAOS was a good six man. Danielson was good on commentary putting over how they train for everything and anything.

MJF was great tonight. I was a little let down that it led to Adam Cole coming out. I was hoping someone from NJPW would show up considering how he keeps saying no one in this company is on his level. But it turned it self around and was good. My only complaint with Cole is did he have to smirk the whole time MJF was running him down. But yeah that body comment had to be lifted straight from someplace like here or twitter. Either way it got me excited to see what they can come up with for a match which apparently is next week.

Good announcement from Tony Khan. CM Punk and FTR vs. BC Gold/Samoa Joe should be a damn good match.

The Texas Tornado match was awesome. Didn't expect that much blood from a chain shot, but it was fun none the less. I hope they keep Hook/Jungle Boy paired up.

Satlander vs. Anna Jay was good. Matt Menard was pretty funny with his taunts from ringside.

Jay White vs. Ricky Starks was pretty good and went the way I expected it to up until the run in. I wanted to see someone from Bullet Club in Japan. Everyone was thinking El Phantasmo. But I guess the Gunns worked too. I mean Bullet Club...Gunn Club...ehhh.

Overall a really good show tonight.

  8. Just finished watching the other night's show and I thought it was pretty good as usual. My MOTN was Sabre Jr vs. Rocky. Shibata vs. Coughlin was a close second.

Athena continues to roll as champion but it was nice to see her almost get put in her place by Keira in the post match. They have some good chemistry so I'd like to see more of them fighting.

  9. The celebration for Roman was outstanding to watch once the Uso's came out. Roman wanting Jey to kick Jimmy cause that's what he did to him. And just when you thought Jimmy had gotten through to Solo and the Bloodline was going to be whole again...boom the samoan spike.

I loved at the very end when Heyman says "what about Jey" to Roman and he says "Jey always falls in line". There's so many ways they can go with this and it's awesome.

  10. This ppv was very hit and miss tonight. The opening battle royal was fine. I was pulling for Switchblade Jay White to win but I'm fine with Orange Cassidy's title run continuing.

With all the hype for Sabu we got one table splash in the first five minutes and that was it. I don't understand why they needed a non sanctioned clause for this match. With the inclusion of the chain at the end it should have been a chain match from the start. Would have been a bit better in my view. After the match at least I got my fireball.

FTR vs. Jarrett/Lethal was pretty good. I kept waiting for Mark Briscoe to turn on FTR It didn't happen but I thought the match was good none the less. Aubrey took that guitar shot like a champ though.

Wardlow vs. Christian was better than I thought it would be. It went off the rails when the ladder broke and then Arn Anderson trying to bite off Luchasauras's finger was a wtf moment. Surprised that Wardlow won.

I knew there would be heavy shenanigan's involved in the Hayter match. She fought like hell despite her injuries.

Not sure why they threw away House of Black vs. Acclaimed and Daddy Ass so quickly tonight. That should have been built up for another couple of weeks. I mean it was good, but I would have waited before doing the match.

Jade vs. Taya was probably Jade's best match. I thought for sure Taya was going to win.  I was shocked at Statlander's return. I agree they should have saved that for Collision or something else. But glad to see her back.

MJF vs. Darby Allin vs. Jungle Boy vs. Sammy was really good. I didn't have anyone picked as a surefire winner. Thought Darby was going to win after the coffin drop and side headlock. That got played up way too much in the match though. I get it, MJF is a prick so of course he'll win in a shitty fashion like that. But they did the side headlock spot one too many times in the match beforehand.

Anarchy in the Arena made up for any of the lackluster booking through out the night. Fun to watch. I liked the ending with Don and Takeshita. I hope this somehow sets up Ibushi finally coming to AEW to reunite with Kenny.

Overall not the best ppv, but it made up for it by the end.

  11. I forgot the show started at one so I missed most of AJ and Seth. Was there was any doubt Seth was winning.

Rest of the show was pretty good.

Roman is gonna kill Jimmy and this next step in the bloodline story will be awesome.

  12. Show was alright tonight. I don't get why Cody needs another hill to climb this time with a supposed broken arm. Fighting a pissed off Lesnar is right off a mountain to climb.

Aside from get things were ok. Brock created a new meme when he told Ali to get a life.

Main event was good. Surprised the was no Solo run in.

  13. Tonight wasn't a bad show. The stuff with The Bloodline continues to be good. I loved Jimmy and Jay trying to get favor with Roman by attacking KO and Sami and Roman was having none of it. It's like no matter what they do, he'll never approve.

The main event was really good. I liked how they highlighted the desperation of The Uso's to win.

Good to see the LWO got a win for once.

  14. I thought last night was a pretty good show for the most part. I thought the House of Black match was a little confusing with the rules, but it ended up working out in the end. The lights looked cool and gave it a nice look.

The cage match was a bit of a mess but in a good way. I don't know why we needed all the weapons when the cage itself is supposed to be a weapon. I know it had been hinted for a while, but i still didn't see Don's turn coming last night so that was a nice touch. I know he's supposed to be a chickenshit heel, but i wonder if this leads to an Omega/Callis match of some sort. Maybe a way to debut or dare I say a return of someone to feud with Kenny.

Since it is a part of the Blockbuster pool I will put this here

    Meg 2: The Trench

I couldn't stop laughing at diving suit part. Bare in mind they supposedly are at the bottom of the Mariana Trench in that scene so science is all ready thrown out the window. I can't believe there are 5 books in this series so if this does well, we might get a Meg 3 in a couple of years.
