  1. Hearing 20,000 people chant for Homicide made me so happy. Yes, I realize that sentence looks horrible out of context but he deserved every bit of that adulation.

  2. The Bucks/Cole kiss on the cheek spot was beautiful comedy. And even moreso beautiful for the way it surely enraged the humorless contingency on DVDVR that feel the need to make it known weekly that they hate said fantastic pro wrestlers Nick Jackson, Matt Jackson and Adam Cole.

  4. Sign Paige Van Zant up tomorrow. Ive decided another long diatribe about why the young bucks are awful is just going to be unproductive. At this point, you either know they suck or you aren’t ready to be honest with yourself. It is remarkable what adam Cole has been able to achieve with that Paul Orndorff arm atrophy effecting him everywhere below his Adam’s apple. He looks like an nba jam player. Dug just about everything else. Miro yeeting Fuego like that made me laugh for 15 minutes.

  5. I typically don't do Instagram but fuck it. I love Eddie to bits and am so happy to see him get his due. https://www.instagram.com/tv/CUOjlMwgWEw/?utm_medium=copy_link EDIT: Can somebody please help with this post not showing properly? Thanks.

  6. Oh man, that was fun. Lost in all of that was how fucking good Jake Hagar looked. That's why you have Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky around. They need to get to the Dark Order being a matriarchy already. Tay and Anna are the best thing about them. The 8 man was fucking insane. The six man was a hoot. And then Miro. BRAVO, AEW!

  7. No way, the Del Preston “I needed 10,000 brown M&M’s or Ozzy wouldn’t go on stage that night” speech is legendary stuff. 5 stars.

  8. It appears that Jake Roberts' health continues to decline. I'm not sure how long his COPD has been so severe, but 40 to 60% of people with severe COPD die within five years. At least I feel confident he is in the right place to get the best possible care for his condition. Say what you will about Tony Khan and AEW (and many of you will), it is indisputable they take VERY good care of their employees and employees families. Lets send some positive vibes his way.

  9. Like none of VU is signed to ROH. A good portion of the ROH roster isn’t signed exclusive to ROH. Just handshake deals at this point. Has anybody else noticed that the HFO’s are Paul Jones Army, and Orange Cassidy is “The Boogey Woogey Man” Jimmy Valiant in this feud? Is Wheeler Yuta gonna turn on Orange after OC calls him “The best independent athlete in professional wrestling”?

  10. The best thing about all this, and I think the talk on here is the same, is there feels like all of this is pointing towards MORE.

  11. Amazing that Homicide appears in the main event involving Minoru Suzuki on national TV just 2 hours from having a killer live 1 on 1 match at GCW show in the main event.

  13. You guys who are all "i don't like this wrestler or team so i will never give a match a chance" are odd.. i have wrestlers that i loathe that can still entertain me on occasion.

  14. The Miro slaughter was the second best thing on the show by far.

  17. It's one thing to not like certain wrestlers, but it's a totally different thing to feel the CONSTANT urge to tell everybody you don't like whichever wrestlers. I remember being like that, always shitting on what I thought sucked - I was in high school. Apparently I grew the fuck up since then.

  18. Sorry, I should be more compassionate to the few of you with your anti-Elite tastes. What it must be like to sit there watching Dynamite and not get to enjoy all, so very many, of those segments featuring the often very funny promos of the Elite and their incredible matches. Or shitty matches to you. That must make the experience of watching AEW very comprable to WWE, no?

  19. Maybe their comedy is just too sophisticated for you. Have you considered that?

  20. Punk vs Hobbs was a really well worked match, now I've had the chance to see it (Fite was being a bastard last night). Hobbs pacing has improved so much in the last year, and Punk being the one guy who still calls it in the ring actively helps his match quality.

  23. I'll see if I can fix that when sober tomorrow. But for now.... I don't care about getting attention but I HAD to get Eddie's speech after the show. He's the fucking best so please click on the link and watch.

  24. I knew the Lights Out match was the main event, but I did NOT think about the possibility of Mark Henry interviewing Minoru Suzuki.

  25. I have no idea who any of the MMA guys and girl were, but that's because I don't give a fuck about MMA. Aside from that, I enjoyed the show and hope there will be more 2 hour special editions of Rampage.

  27. This episode was really sad. With that said, the gay porn pinata, and Mitchell deciding that if Kanyon wouldn't show up for his own sex tape he's going to make his own sex tape are about as hilarious of situations that could possibly exist. Seriously, my biggest question is why the hell did the two of them sit down to watch it afterwards? TANGENT ALERT!!!!!!! Spoilered for Strong Sexual Content

  29. I don't like the Bucks much, but they've fallen into an area where I actually like to watch their matches and I find myself rooting for them to lose. When they were faces, I just didn't want to watch them, really. So, I guess their heel schtick works on me?

  31. I think John Tenta is the eternal winner of the oldest looking young wrestler award. You could have knocked me down with a feather when I found out he was only 26 when he attacked Hogan on the Brother Love show. But in saying that, WWF was full of young guys that looked old at that time. Big Bossman and Akeem were 25 and 28 years old respectively when they faced the Mega Powers on the live "Main Event" show on NBC in 1989.

  32. This is the Bucks at their best. I haven’t really liked the Bucks as much until now. To tell them to be serious, is to tell them not to play to their strengths. That’s like telling Taz to play it straight on commentary.

  33. Oh, and I'm also all for "Orange takes the hair of various HFO members until he finally gets in the ring with Matt, even though Orange literally doesn't give a shit about taking anyone's hair"

  39. This reads like one of those Facebook posts designed to steal your password information: "Your NXT name is your first car with your mother's maiden name and your billed weight is the last four digits on the back of your credit card".

  40. I think we need to finally start having a serious discussion about how AEW's output isn't a sustainable model. You can't constantly put out good to fantastic shows and keep your audience engaged and caring, that's not what the last 20 years of wrestling in America taught us and we might need to admit that AEW isn't going to be better for it. I think Dynamite's rating this week proved that no matter how hyped up a show is, doesn't matter if two of the best wrestlers in the world are opening the show in a dream match... goddamnit, 1.3 million people watching the show just isn't cutting it. Brandon Thurston is right about all of this. Won't someone please think of the casual fan?!
