Yeah, I don't either GSP or Anderson having anything to do with wrestling. GSP is currently enjoying retirement and never really shown interest in doing anything else besides maybe films. Anderson....that's even more unlikely. There is a large stigma among Brazilians about wrestling being fake and everything that comes with that. That probably explains why last I checked pro wrestling hasn't been big in Brazil in 3 or 4 decades. Moreover, Anderson has looked ancient over the last few years. Sting in his early 60s moves MUCH, MUCH better than Anderson Silva in his mid 40s. He has had so much wear and tear on his body that it makes no sense for him to be doing pro wrestling. Now Daniel Cormier...he could possibly be pretty good at wrestling. Huge wrestling fan and always been pining to do pro wrestling. Has some charisma. Not a tall man but EXTREMELY powerful. Could also serve as a commentator as well because he does the UFC PPVs and does good job most of the time even if he is a little erratic at other times. Legit ATG in MMA and former Olympian. Still has enough physically to do it. Makes all the sense in the world.

I don't think Bill is dumb. I think Bill is terribly naïve. Bill probably believes most people are good and thinks that those who say offensive things are like him, and are trying to force folks to have difficult conversations by giving people the breathing space to confront their own implicit biases through the portal of humor. Any comedian worth his salt is inciteful by nature and Bill trades in uncomfortable truths for a living. Gina Carano is not a comedian. She is, as you say, a piece of shit. In Rodman's first match, the crowd absolutely lost it because of his ability to do like a clothesline, a leapfrog, and a dropkick. It was INSANE the level of crowd noise.

This is where I came down on whether to speculate about talent from Japan. Lots of potentially huge assets. Lots of guys who key parts of AEW built their reputation working with. Mini rant: I hate this new Peacock deal. A lot of my Network watching happens with my PS4 friends, as we all go in party chat, find the timestamp and bullshit around watching the matches. We won't be able to do that anymore and that fucking stinks. It may not seem like THAT big of a deal, but they're in the UK and Finland, so I guess they'll keep the current format, while I'm stuck using my crap Xfinity box.
