  1. Lashley and Fish get teamed up as “The Bobbies” and are given a London police gimmick, complete with helmets and terrible British accents. Fans chant along to their exciting catchphrase of “What’s all this then?”

  5. Somebody finally put this up! Maybe the best FMW match ever that doesn't involve an exploding ring -- take it to the bank.

  6. Shit, bring back Jazz and put her in the Jackie Brown role and I'd watch that.

  7. The three of them sitting in the office; Blackman attempting to read a magazine and growing frustrated and distracted as New Jack and Schultz loudly argue over whether a sugar hold or a staple gun is more effective at subduing suspects.

  8. How about a wacky TV show with Blackman, Schultz and New Jack, where they run run their own bail bonds/skip tracing/birthday party entertainment company, and hilarity ensues. Can these three mismatched hotheads survive this wacky business --- or each other? Answer: they can - through the magiks of friendship and comedy. This is the programming we need to heal our fractured souls. - book it, RAF

  14. For those of you on PS4 here are links to some moves I highly recommend: https://firepro-w.com/user/profile/mortula13 This guy has several basic submissions that he changed so they can no longer end a match. So if you've ever had a match end with a chin lock, a head lock, etc you'll like what he's got up https://firepro-w.com/user/profile/Jurassic_Punk_13 Foley's corner punches/running knee, Rock's corner punches https://firepro-w.com/user/profile/RMP_FPW Arn Anderson's spinebuster, Tully Blanchard's slingshot suplex, R & R Express double dropkick and 3 different Midnight Express double teams https://firepro-w.com/user/profile/orange6-3 Several variants of Stan Hansen's western lariat https://firepro-w.com/user/profile/smokedbreads Sunset Flip (off top rope, springboard, running) https://firepro-w.com/user/profile/RecallBerserk Another guy with some no-sub basic submissions as well as some pinning moves moved to medium grapple (small package, backslide, etc) https://firepro-w.com/user/profile/repomaniacs The old "ram a guy's knee into the ring post" move as a corner grapple as well as Bret Hart's ringpost figure four https://firepro-w.com/user/profile/AlmightyLP Stunner, Pedigree, Superkick all as striking moves, Orange Cassidy's hands in pockets taunt https://firepro-w.com/user/profile/nogman7 Jake the Snake DDT, Rude Awakening, Shake Rattle & Roll, Austin's Thesz Press with punches

  17. When you made the “weenie ass” comment I was like who stole Triple H’s terrible jokes book then you referenced skinny fat and I was like nope it’s Triple H himself in all his unfunny glory.

  18. You left out the part about how he initially showed up at a WWF show in '97 looking to beat the shit out of Vader over an old grudge before his old Stampede buds talked him into trying out instead...

  19. Vince McMahon is due to watch Jackie Brown, so maybe he’ll bring in Blackman with a Max Cherry gimmick.

  20. Watching PHENOMENA, which has plot elements straight out of a classic DOCTOR WHO: a lunatic killer, a kid who talks to insects, and a surprisingly robust part for a chimpanzee. Edit: wow the last 30 minutes of this movie are off the chain.

  21. WCW had some really good themes in the early 90s

  22. Ricky Banderas and Apollo re-enacted that and it is awesome. So much blood. The picture frame in Puerto Rico is what a cake given by the girl scouts is to Mid-Atlantic.

  23. Headhunter (A OR B?!) lands a gnarly moonsault on Shoji Nakamaki from the IWA Japan show DZ just linked to in the matches topic. There's some blood, shockingly, so I'll put a spoiler tag on it. I've hyperlinked the gif to that part in the match so you can hear the squish. They huck him into a box of glass afterwards.

  27. I've been binge watching Impact, I really have enjoyed their show a lot more than AEW and WWE during this. Thinking I'll get Slammiversary. If it's Super Eric returning to challenge Moose then I'm fine with it. He can revert to Eric Young right after. I'm hoping it's EC3 in the main event.

  30. Geez, Dean, you just reminded me of one of the saddest cards I ever attended. Dusty Rhodes' PWF came to Tallahassee with pretty much no TV or promotion and drew about 500 people to a 12,000 seat arena. The place was deathly quiet. One of the early matches was Steve Keirn against Bobby Jaggers. This was Steve's second match of the night and he seemed a little pissed at having to sub for whoever no-showed. The place was so silent you could literally hear anything a fan yelled at the ring. At one point, Keirn had Jaggers in a toe hold of some sort. Some guy yelled out, "Put the figure four on him, Steve." And Keirn yelled back, "I can't. He's too fat!" I felt really bad for Jaggers, because he really was in woeful shape. Sigh.

  31. Freddie Freeman tested positive for COVID, while not in the hospital says he feels like he's been run over by a ton of bricks. I'm thinking that in the next couple weeks we'll find out no season is "possible"

  33. Shayna would be fine if she could do a southern accent. Why can't she go back to NXT then? Hunter talks all this shit about how there's a "plan" and that "people won't be called up with nothing to do". It's absolute bullshit. Gargano & Ciampa are the smart ones, constantly refusing the call. Can't wait for Undisputed Era to get to the main roster. Two years of running through the roster in NXT and we are gonna get: Bobby Fish losing his first name because we already have Bobby Lashley. Roddy Strong in a comedy gimmick where he fails to lift heavy things. Bonus comedy if it's in a feud with Otis. Kyle O'Reilly turning on the group to join the Lucha House Party. Those guys like having fun. Adam Cole being thrown over the plexiglass by Braun Strowman. No title match, Braun just throws him around. Coz he's small. He gets to fight Bryan/Gulak in a sweet series of 10 minute matches to open SDL before being forgotten about through.

  35. That stretch of soundtrack during the bar scene is probably my favorite use of songs in any movie. Hell, Near Dark even got me to like a George Strait song; even though that's got less to do with George Strait than never giving a mule's patootie about anything remotely country western, or country and/or western.
