  3. I thought the answer was going to be because he is a liar. Yeah, a liar. He'll tear your mind out. He'll burn your soul.

  6. Man, that Titus post is perfect. I've been struggling with how to respond to this situation and he perfectly encapsulated the need for both giving second chances and recognizing that Hulk's an insincere prick and what he said was disgusting. I hope he's remembered more for this than the rumble trip.

  7. Well it looks like Slammi is officially sold out. We’re look at around 2000 give or take. Also it looks like they’re gonna push the TV tapings at the Blue Jays game as Johnny’s throwing out the first pitch.

  9. That's an awesome statement from Kofi and the New Day. Basically, WWE can do what they want, we have A LOT of things going on in life, fuck Hulk Hogan but we are not allowing this to stop us from being the best thing on WWE TV Well said.

  10. I think it's safe to say Brewers reliever Josh Hader is a Hulkamaniac. https://thebiglead.com/2018/07/18/josh-hader-twitter-racist-homophobic/

  11. Big Bossman switching to the (what we now see as) Shield gear upon his return was pretty boss. The old look was classic, but that SWAT outfit was great. This may be panned based on a current thread, but I’m going for it. Hogan circa ‘97 was great for the character and my favorite of his. I was never a Hulkamaniac growing up (it’s possible folks). I know he went with the black outfit in ‘96, but ‘97 was when it amped up. He had the new look and the Hendrix theme. I thought it was cool as hell.

  16. "I just stick to my strengths. Look at the league... they don't pay people to play defense. To say that's a weakness... you can say that's everybody's weakness" - Jabari Parker, at his Bulls introductory press conference. I am now at peace with him leaving the Bucks.

  19. On one hand, KO tried to have the other MITB contestants take out Braun before and during the match. On the other hand, it was obvious that KO was merely doing so as a strategic move and not because he actually hated Braun. If Braun had said he saw how KO treated Zayn and Jericho for making the mistake of being his friend, it would have played better. In any case, it's gone too far.

  21. There was a brief moment in 2009? Orton was booting peoples heads off culminating in Vince taking the stiffest boot to the head I've ever seen where I thought he could have been the next big thing in wrestling, then the HHH feud happened and it killed him dead, again. For all of his accomplishments and longevity, he's never really fulfilled his potential. The ultimate stat wrestler.

  22. Toronto's got a great crowd, it's a fantastic city, they have talent, could win the East... And there's a decent chance Derozan wasn't going to stick around much longer anyway. Bet on your culture, hope it works out like George in OKC. If it doesn't, hit the rebuild.

  34. I remember listening to him doing a call in radio show when the Foos’ first CD came out, and people kept asking him about the lyrics, and he kept saying “Look, there’s no deeper meaning behind them. I just needed lyrics to go with the songs.” Another random Dave Grohl note: he bought my aunt’s house in Alexandria, and it can be seen on the back cover art of their... third? CD.

  36. I hardly go to the movies, has always been that way. But if there was one movie I had to go see on a midnight showing it was this movie. Unfortunately that didn't happen because I was in Greece at the time. Which was awesome and I have no complaints about that. But it did suck so, so bad going to an internet cafe and reading how pretty much everybody I knew went and saw that and they lost their damn minds. When I got back the movie was out of the theatres and I had to wait for it to come out on Blu Ray. I tried a couple torrents but it wasn't to my liking so I would stop after the first ten minutes. I figured as long as I didn't know any major spoilers and stuck with the memes then I'd fine. Thankfully that worked out and while I hated seeing it after everybody else did it was so, so glorious watching it on Blu Ray. Funny thing is that ten years later I'm going back to Greece (in two days!) and I'm kind of glad there's no absolute must-see movies coming up that I'll be bummed missing out on. I love most of the Marvel movies I've seen and there's many I hold in the highest regard. But TDK will forever be my all-time favorite superhero movie. It's the point that even if I say [insert movie here] is my favorite superhero movie it would still be second place to TDK. I really should see to watch it again at some point.

  37. TDK is probably the best Batman movie made, one of the best SuperHero movies, and an all around good movie, even if it does loose a bit at the end. It's a shame it was followed by the worst "Batman" movie ever made. (Sorry, just can't get past my dissappointment that Nolan made both the best and worst Batman movies back to back, and with everything he got right with TDK he got totally wrong with TDKR)

  39. According to Byron Saxton, former Yankees CF Bernie Williams is a Hall of Famer. I love Bernie as much as the next Yankee fan and wish it were true. If Bernie is watching Smackdown, I'm sure he's very pleased to know Saxton inducted him into the HoF.

  40. I always find it interesting how everyone claims they hated Hogan as a kid now. Not saying we got some revisionist history, but the man was a cultural icon and basically a superhero come to life for over a decade. Were you people rooting for Lex Luthor in the Superman films, too? Note: I was born in '81, started watching WWF late '87 and discovered Ric Flair in '89 (randomly wrestling that "Dragon" guy the first afternoon we got cable). I get hating the asshole post '92 but if you were a kid in the 80s what kind of monster were you to root against Saying Your Prayers, Taking Your Vitamins and believing in the big Hulkster in the sky?

  41. That goes for other NXT talent as well: Asuka, the Revival etc. Papa H must despair at the booking of some NXT wrestlers when called up to main roster.
