  1. On a side note, how many of Roman's tweets sound like something Doctor Doom or Skeletor would say?

  2. It'll be weird when the next week's episode of Raw airs chronologically backwards.

  3. There was that period of time where every other tweet was him signing off with "CURSE YOU RICHARDS!" It was super weird.

  4. The guy is a dumbass for the response in the first place, there's no point in it, but Roman took the bait like a fool as well. Both are morons.

  5. I always enjoy when we do the thing where we talk around a topic without actually explaining what the hell we're talking about.

  6. Power Move was my shit for a while simply because it was the only wrestling sim out there. I can't imagine it holds up well though. I remember being in love with Nitro when I first saw it and then being disappointed as soon as I played it. It looked so much like the actual tv show, to me.

  11. They bring the military in because in there view the military fight to protect everyone's right that the flag stands for except the ones those people don't agree with. So the argument goes by protesting the flag your disrespecting the military men and women who died to protect the right to freedom of speech and assembly that the players and others are invoking. Which is the very reason that so many vets openly say they have zero issue with people kneeling or protesting because that's why they did what they did.

  12. The best thing about that shitty Nitro game was that I was able to use my Talkboy to record a cassette copy of the NWO's ring music from the main menu that didn't have the announcers talking over it.

  13. Every one of RReign's tweets should be "Sufferin' Succotash!!!". In fact, every one of all the WWE Superstars (tm) tweets should be the lamest catch-phrase (c) the writing squad came up for them, ad infinitum. - RAF

  15. I think WWE needs more social media guidelines in place than just "no tweeting after midnight." Seriously, doesn't the NBA or some other sports league bring in advisors/social media coaches to teach guys how not to be dumb online?

  17. Power Move was the shit. You have to remember there was pretty much nothing else good out at the time, and then we got this awesome fucking game. Great memories of El Temblor (Koji Kanemoto), Area 51 (Kensuke Sasuke/Power Warrior), whatever their Muta stand-in's convict gimmick was, etc. Just awesome. Yeah, it was a port of TR1 and it led me down the path of getting my PS1 modded to buy TR2 (and later TR3). @Ryan, well it was a precursor to the Smackdown games (Yukes) but they SD games dramatically simplified it as far as the control scheme went.

  20. I'm thinking tonight's Rick and Morty will be more divisive than usual but I fucking loved it! I was re-watching the show's run the past week or so and was thinking how they've been able to be political at times but generally on the sly and almost never bluntly. Tonight's episode was a huge departure in just about every way. I hope it doesn't become a trend because this show is generally at its best when subverting earnestness. However, for a one off it was tremendous and they brought back Mastermind Morty (another thing I was wondering if they'd come back to) and the hauntingly beautiful Blonde Redhead song from my favourite episode, Close Rick-counters of the Rick Kind.

  22. Thanks as always to S.K.oS. for organizing this -- it's always a lot of fun! I'm surprised (but pleased) that I managed to finish in the Top 6 this year -- albeit by the skin of my teeth...! Wow, that was close.

Didn't he say he ate that like every day? Here's the menu. "The King Doesn't Wait, Why Should You"... ho boy. https://jerrylawlerbbq.com/menu/main/

  30. Most of the wrestlers in PMPW are based on other Japanese wrestlers, but due to copyright laws their names have been changed. To the best of my knowledge, here is a list of their counterparts from the Japanese version: Agent Orange -> Tenzan Commandand -> Keiji Muto Gorgon -> Kero-Chan El Temblor -> Kanemoto Sallie -> Tiger Hattori Sparrow -> The Great Muta

  31. The only thing I have grabbed right now is Grim Dawn at 60% off. It has a second expansion landing pretty soon and that felt like a fair price for a game I have a legit chance of sinking a few hundred hours into. I don't really know what style you are looking for, but things that I have enjoyed and played myself that on sale at 75%+: - Rochard is actually a pretty decent physics/puzzle/platformer about a redneck space miner guy with a gravity defying gun. The story is dumb, the game is good. - Anomaly: Warzone Earth is basically a reverse tower defense game (you run the convoy through the towers). If you enjoy those, it's definitely worth the $1 it currently costs. - Shadow Warrior at 85% off is absolutely worthwhile if you like old school FPS games. You will carve a lot of shit up with swords. I had a lot of fun with this. The special edition is unfortunately not on sale but all that is adding is basically a couple sword skins, soundtrack, and artbook, so nothing in it is super impressive. - Shadowrun: Dragonfall is a very very good turn based tactic-RPG that is 80% off. Also has workshop support and there are a couple decent fan made campaigns if you enjoy it and want a little more. The three pack of Returns, Dragonfall and Hong Kong is also 80% off but I haven't played the other two. - Shadowgate is cool, but I think it's mostly "cool to people that actually remember NES Shadowgate and want to play a much prettier version of it". It's incredibly difficult without a walkthrough. It's not a game for everyone, but it is neat. - Rogue Legacy is excellent if you enjoy Castlevania style games. This one adds in being able to buy new upgrades between playthroughs and I personally enjoyed it very much. - Hammerwatch is basically a Gauntlet love letter. It's very good at being just that. I think it could use a little more enemy variety but it's very solid. - Cook, Serve, Delicious is so much better than it has any right to be. It's basically a timing/reflex game where people order food and you press the corresponding buttons to make their order. I was genuinely surprised how much I enjoyed this one. - Limbo is a very good puzzle platformer that has been ripped off a ton of times as much for the art style as anything. It's not very long, but it is decent. - The Fall is an excellent indie mostly-puzzle-exploring sci fi game that got a lot of praise at the time and I quite enjoyed. Also: The Fall Part 2 is due in the next season or so. This would be a really good time to play Part 1 if you have not. - Stealth Bastard Deluxe is a very good game. A stealth/platformer game that moves at a pretty good clip but has a fair number of tougher rooms too. - Prison Architect is a very good game in the city building genre of a sort. Very easy to lost a lot of hours on. The art style plays out much better than it looks in screenshots, in my opinion. It actually has a lot of character. - FTL: Faster Than Light should really be in just about any PC player's catalogue. It's probably the easiest roguelike for, like, normal people to pick up and enjoy, without actually sacrificing the depth that makes roguelikes interesting in the first place. - Crusader Kings II base game is at 75% off but the base game is like 25% of the content at this point, so I have a hard time screaming that you must own this anymore. Jesus I play a lot of games.

  32. Perhaps cranking one out to cartoons is the thing that can bridge the generation gap. Just looking at the front page Darkest Dungeon, Grim Dawn, The Banner Saga, Starbound, and Shadowrun Returns are all $10 or under and are all really good.

  33. Ok, I'm doing this cuz it sounds way more interesting than "Roman is an idiot on Twitter". Cameron Poe (Nick Cage) - Southern badass. Doesn't really emote a ton. AJ Styles. Vince Larkin (John Cusack) - John Cena. No it doesn't work at all, but he's gotta be in ONE of the leading roles, and I'd rather see AJ as Cameron Poe. Cyrus the Virus (John Malkovich) - I've already thought of all the Don Callis jokes and I didn't find any of them funny. I was thinking of another role for him, but I can't see anyone better for this than Miz. Garland "Marietta Mangler" Greene (Steve Buscemi) - I'm going with Petrol's casting and putting Bray Wyatt there. Nathan "Diamond Dog" Jones (Ving Rhames) - Mark Henry Duncan Malloy (Colm Meaney) - Sheamus Johnny-23 Baca (Danny Trejo) - Rusev Earl "Swamp Thing" Williams (M.C. Gainey) - Luke Harper William "Billy Bedlam" Bedford (Nick Chinlund) - Bo Dallas Joe "Pinball" Parker (Dave Chappelle) - Xavier Woods Mike "Baby-O" O'Dell (Mykelti Williamson) - Big E Guard Sally Bishop - Sasha Banks Guard Falzon - Curtis Axel Tricia Poe - Lana Casey Poe - Izzy And the one you've all been waiting for Ramon "Sally Can't Dance" Martinez - Velveteen Dream
