It was in Mackenzie: a small town on a shitty tour of the B.C. Interior, and everyone got too drunk and the promoter got too mouthy. He said some things about my wife in the hopes I would shoot fight with him in the hotel...but I am not a shoot wrestler (and he was a multi-time BC Amateur Wrestling champion), I am a guy that used to carry a knife around. Luckily my friend was there to keep me sane, as I was pretty intent on gutting said promoter like a fish...and nobody else in the room was interested in stopping things from unfolding.

If Sinclair operates like they do in many areas(like here, where we had a 30 minute sitdown one random Saturday with notorious pseudo-historian David Barton) they shove their packaged Info Wars wannabe disasters into the Evening News since they're testing for a full network rollout last I read about it. I have no clue if it's how it is now, but I have pretty vivid memories of going to Raiders/Rams games as a kid and Rams fans being attacked all over the stadium - verbally and physically - by Raiders fans. We had season tickets for maybe 5 years of my childhood and no other team was an issue other than the Raiders games. After they moved to Oakland, the Chargers wouldn't sell single game tickets to the Chargers/Raiders game just because Raiders fans flooding the stadium was such an issue. Then there was my professor from college who would come to class after Raiders home games with bruises and even one time a broken leg that he was proud of because "you gotta be tough to hang in the Black Hole!". Any other team I would say that story is an exaggeration, but honestly it doesn't surprise me at all for the Raiders. I will 100% of the time take some stoned kid next to me vegging out on $12 hot dogs and quietly watching the game that some drunk dude who can't handle his booze at 10am in 80 degree sunshine.

I hate watching videos like this because it reminds me how utterly boring the UFC looks in comparison to the beautiful over the top spectacle of big Japanese MMA shows (your average Pancrase at Differ Ariake or Deep at Korakuen Hall isn't really the same thing). It made what you're watching feel special. The only time the UFC have ever gotten even vaguely close to that was the McGregor Mendes fight when they had Sinead O'Connor & the guy from Staind sing their walkout songs.

So apparently Ed Skrein was cast in the Hellboy reboot, as a character that's Asian in the comics. So there was a little kerfuffle about whitewashing... so he withdrew from the role so they could recast it with an ethnically appropriate actor. And now the right wing snowflakes are upset because there's another character who was an Irish Ginger in the comics and is Black in the movie. There have been Black People in Ireland for generations, by the way. Not many, but some. One was a famous Rock Singer in the 70s.

They trust Sasha to get great matches out of people but they don't want her to run with the ball and I'll never understand why. She has the most crossover appeal right now in the whole division. I hate this 50/50 booking shit, it's worse in the women's division than any other division and it's happening on both RAW and SDL.
