What was impressive about Sherri is she could be with anyone and it would look right. Savage, Dibiase and Shawn are all very different wrestlers. But Sherri looked like it was a natural pairing. Even great managers like Bobby Heenan and Jimmy Hart could not do that. I see Bobby paired with Missing Link and Adrian Adonis and it looks wrong.

When it comes to the wrestling, I rarely step outside the DVDR bubble. That being said, I listen to the 6:05 podcast frequently because once you get past the first hour or so, they have some really great interviews with guest who aren't the norm on the podcast circuit, but recently, I joined one of their Facebook pages and am appalled and ashamed to be lumped into the "wrestling fan" category with those martians. The pile-on mentality that these folks have about particular personalities have because of a host that is dying to be famous, makes me wanna hurt someone. DVDR....I appreciate you.

If Kenny was doing his shtick in his Okada matches, then people would have plenty of reasons to be grumpy. But it's a fucking Toru Yano match. No one watches Yano because they're hoping for a strong style classic. And for all the stupid shit wrestling fans have to suspend their disbelief over in order to enjoy themselves, I find it weird that comedy is where so many of them draw the line.

The episode is fine but I genuinely don't get the fascination by fans with Benoit anymore. There's a lot of great wrestlers to explore/examine. This cult of personality around his 'career getting its due' is just a waste of everyone's time.

I find both the Kerwin White gimmick and Dirty White Girl spousal abuse angle to be patently offensive yet I love Kamala the Ugandan Giant, Satanic Kevin Sullivan, and midget wrestling. My hypocrisy is complicated.
