  1. I think we all know the true highlight of the finish. I have a feeling this will replace the Krusty the Klown's "What the hell was that"

  2. Literally nobody gives a shit why you or anyone else doesn't come here anymore. Stop stealing Rovert's gimmick.

  3. So many people are mad because the good guy didn't win. And they say kayfabe is dead.

  4. Is it too much to ask for the mods to do the same thing they promised to do if people said they were never going to watch again when Taker lost at mania? Aka ban them to help them keep their vow I was fine with the finish. Watch some DDT and get back to me you crybabies I also think a lot of you missed the point of the Wyatt promos. They were about breaking off Harper and Rowan, not changing anything about Bray. They even debuted his new solo horror insert at the end to replace the Derp

  5. God... I legitimately am starting to wonder if "overly positive guy" is just your gimmick. If it is (and I don't think it is), I much prefer it to the handful of overly negative cynics around.

  6. I was so disappointed when Rollins was in the cell and Dean was on top and Dean didn't even threaten to pee on him? Dean threatens to pee on librarians who don't have the Carl's Junior menu as a book on tape. And he has to somehow stream over a desk for that. This should have been easy.

  8. They'd probably drop him into a go nowhere feud with Kane where they go out of their way to ignore the history to two have. Oh wait.

  9. Before anyone gets too excited over the prospect of a Bray/Ambrose feud, let's remember that Bray just isn't that good. Has everyone forgotten how badly the Jericho feud exposed him? After their disappointing matches, people were saying that Jericho was washed up. But then he went and had a really good match with Orton at NOC. So either Orton is a world-class carry artist, or it wasn't Jericho who was the problem. I really don't know what I'm supposed to be looking forward to besides more Ambrose prop comedy and a bunch of shitty overbooked matches.

  10. I'm just gonna fantasy book it in my head that homeless man Dean Ambrose broke into Bray Wyatt's shack and stole food from his fridge and now Bray wants vengeance because that pulled-pork sandwich was gonna be for dinner.

  11. The first HITC match ever ended with the demonic brother of a wrestling zombie debuting. And that character is still around today. Bray Wyatt showing up via some parlor trick to take out a man who has talked about wanting to go to hell isn't anything that different. Bray and Dean will have awesome promos. They also had a Smackdown match this year that was off-the-charts great. Wrestling's a soap opera. Goes from one story to the next.

  13. What I'd really like to see with John Cena is for him to win the World Title from Lesnar with the F-5 at Survivor Series. Then Daniel Bryan comes back and loses to him, clean. Then Bryan will bring in/manage a variety of wrestlers to take down John Cena: start with Cesaro, then Itami, Finn Balor, Sami Zayn and Kevin Steen whom Cena will steamroll clean. Then he will bring in outsiders like Adam Cole, The Briscoes, ACH whom he will also beat clean. Then have him go through Daniel Bryan's International Army of Nakamura, Tanahashi, and Minoru Suzuki, and beat each with their own moves. Finally, Daniel Bryan gets down on his knees and begs John Cena for forgiveness, John Cena bestows upon him his very own "Hustle, Loyalty and Respect" t-shirt which Bryan will wear and become "Mini-Cena" why he runs around doing the "You can't see me" gesture and repeatedly screwing up, at which point Cena will hit him with his hat like the Skipper and Gilligan. Eventually, Bryan reveals it was all a swerve and challenges Cena at Wrestlemania, at which Cena beats him again. The next night Cena loses his title to Randy Orton on Raw with an RKO Out of Nowhere (WWE jumping in on the internet trend when it's at its hottest!). I would greatly enjoy that sequence of events.

  16. JBL: "Careers have been defined by the Intercontinental Title!" Shoot comments that aren't supposed to be shoot comments, etc etc etc. Missed Paige/AJ but I thought it was a hell of a show save the wrong guys going over in the bookends. The lack of direction for Cesaro right now is so fucking depressing- they strapped the rocket onto his back after he slammed Show, and then pointed the rocket into a mountainside. As for the main, I like the idea of putting Bray into the mix but not with Dean- now you've got two guys who REALLY need to go over and get elevated, but one of them obviously won't. I think year from now, fans will look back at 2014 at the year of guys they refused to pull the trigger on at the right time. Cesaro, Ambrose, the Wyatts, Big E... the list goes on and on.

  17. All I could think was that if Orton was part of that double table fall he would somehow have managed to land on Michael Cole's keys, yelled "FUCK" and thrown them into the crowd.

  18. His second wife used to bleach his hair for him. They got divorced. His hair started falling out and just like that, he's a hundred years old. Same thing happened to Hulk Hogan. His wife used to bleach his hair for him. Got divorced, Hogan tried to bleach his own hair, what he had left fell out and now he has some cheap weave hanging off the back of his head and he's a hundred years old. The moral is if your wife takes care of your hair, don't divorce her until you've got a backup lined up.

  19. Like 5-6 months ago, Rollins turned on his partners. The Shield decided Reigns would go after the World Title while Ambrose got revenge on Rollins. Rollins demanded that Ambrose be put into his MITB ladder match so he could keep an eye on him to make sure he didn't interfere in his match because that doesn't make a lick of sense. They were going to have a one on one PPV match but they didn't so Ambrose hid in Rollins' trunk all night and then they brawled a little. So they're finally going to have their match at the next PPV but they had to do a Beat The Clock Challenge to decide who got to pick the stips because the match they didn't have didn't have any stips and they had to load this easy feud up with some bullshit. Ambrose won and picked a lumberjack match with all the guys The Shield beat up serving as the lumberjacks but the main point of his promo was to plug The WWE Network only costing $9.99. Corporate Kane interfered in the match because he couldn't have done that in a regular match. Rollins put Ambrose through some cinder blocks on Raw so WWE could bury Ambrose by sending him off to shoot a movie. Reigns was going to get revenge but his guts exploded but luckily Ambrose came back just in time. He didn't hide in a box or disguise himself as Adam Rose's bunny or anything. Just rolled up in a cab just in time as the cameras went to a random shot backstage. So finally, they're going to settle it in HELL IN THE CELL! The dreaded structure of doom and destruction. Nope. Gotta do a pole match with Cena first to see who gets to wrestle Rollins. Ambrose won but Cena got an opportunity to wrestle for a World Title shot. Now finally, HELL IN THE CELL between the two hated rivals. A giant cage to contain all their rage. Nobody gets in, nobody gets out. How will WWE cock up this gimmick three years in a row? With a fucking ghost.

  20. Wait wait wait. Are you seriously trying to tell us a 3 hour show isn't enough time to get over a midcard angle? This company 10 years ago not only could do that in a 2 hour show, they were doing it for two different brands!

  21. Tune-out triggers for me these days: IWC, hive mind, etc. Before I discovered the Internets, I knew that I liked Bret Hart and Randy Savage more than Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior. I dug those flippy WCW light heavyweights like Liger, Pillman, and that Benoit fella. Those were my favorite guys to watch before I knew a damn thing about ratingz and buyratez and workratez.

  22. I actually think with the B-PPVs being worthless now that they're all on the Network, this is the time to actually try out some guys in those spots to see what happens. Cesaro was a popular, important part of the Elimination Chamber match this year. Now that he's done it in multi-man, would it hurt to give him a shot against Cena on a B-PPV and see how it goes? I feel this way about Dolph Ziggler, too. I don't like him, but the crowd loves him. I honestly think they are missing out on an interesting B-PPV main event by not running Lesnar/Ziggler champion vs. champion. A twelve-minute match where Ziggler dies a thousand times but hangs on as long as he can before finally getting F5'ed would do more for him than the IC title ever could. Then, the crowd believes in him when you float him into the upper mid-card or even a rare main event spot once you run up against the injury bug and need someone to fill a spot in a pinch.

  24. The Demon Kane doesn't wear suits, only Korporate Kane does. Then you have Weekend Khakis Kane who likes to kick it in a pair of pleated dad khakis on the weekend while cooking brats on the grill.

  27. I guess I'm in the monority because I really liked the main event. I sat there thinking that in today's WWE, that was about the damnedest thing I've seen in some time. The finish came and despite the hokiness of the hologram, I enjoyed seeing Bray return. It made sense to me too. To make the most money off of Ambrose vs Rollins, you want to hold off on Ambrose winning until if really means something. And you can't keep those two feuding now until next year. There needs to be something else for Ambrose and Rollins to do. Ambrose vs Bray is perfectly acceptable.

  29. At least people here stopped posting his tweets like we should all know about how anti-funny the guy is. Jesus Christ, cheer up and say something positive about somebody. I'm begging you. I see Big Fresh hasn't been reading the tens of Ebbie posts about the awesomeness of Bad News Barrett and the Bella Twins. I see Ebbie kinda like Slappy Squirrel from Animaniacs. She'll praise what she likes, but she has a short fuse when it comes to foolishness. It's an endearing type of crabbiness.

  30. This is absolutely true. I think Rusev is the best face in WWE right now, he gives no fucks and his only concern is about Lana's safety. He's like babyface Savage.

  32. God... I legitimately am starting to wonder if "overly positive guy" is just your gimmick. It's less "overly positive guy" and more "I hate the wrestling hate hive mind." There was plenty of stuff I didn't like on the show. I wish there was more heat in the tag team division. The Usos and The Dust Brothers are so awesome but the feud's a snooze. And I'm fine with "YOU COST US THE TITLES!" as an angle. But there's nothing there. The Bellas getting TV time is the worst. Sheamus/Miz stinks and I'm not much of a Miz-dow fan. You know why the "Hive Mind" hates it Gregg, because we don't love everything Creative does. You know why, because we spent 30, 40, 50 years watching as much of this crap as we can get ahold of, for decades. You know how much Creative watched... NONE. Its in the advert for the position, NO WRESTLING KNOWLEDGE PERFERRED. So when we see the only game in town continually screwing up crap that shit little Indy bookers in bumshit Indiana can book properly, its getting pretty rage inducing.

  33. So, Cesaro is primed to be the next breakout babyface after WrestleMania. Now, he can't win a fall in a 2 out of 3 falls match. He's in elite company with the Bolsheviks and Young Stallions now.

It burns up, dies And a dark shadows falls over her soul From the ashes of a once delightful lady, has risen a curse A wrong that must be righted We look to the skies for a vindicator, someone to strike fear into the black hearts of the ratchet bosses who created her The battle between good, and evil has begun Against an army of BFFs, lies the dark warrior The ponytail of good With a high five of silence And a hug of justice It's Bayley.

  39. Such vitriol and hate for a show that was good. From some of the comments, you'd think that Cena and Orton came back out to have another match, kicking out Ambrose and Rollins in the process, while HHH and Nash came out to call Ambrose and Rollins vanilla midgets. Step back off the ledge. I'm just not seeing the travesty here.

  41. I'm fine with disagreements and criticisms of the program. But so much of it is just rote nonsense with no thought behind other than VINCE AND WRITERZ~ without any critical thought behind it. And there are plenty of things I don't like about the product right now and I freely state them. I think Sheamus is a snooze and Miz is worthless and the really talented Sandow is wasted. The Bellas are a giant waste of time, although they're better than they were, but that's like saying a NFL team won 2 games last year but 1 the year before so they're now twice as good. I wish they'd give the tag division some more room to work with. I'd like to have more Bo Dallas in my life. I liked Ambrose/Rollins last night but their lumberjack and Raw matches were both a lot better. I dug the stretcher spots and the like but, once they got in the cage, it wasn't what I wanted. They made an interesting choice in building to the big spot at first (and Ambrose spinning kendo sticks on top of the cage and decimating the new stooges was great) and, on paper, the conclusion -- Dean's about to do what Rollins did to him with cinderblocks until GLURT -- should have worked. But it didn't really do it for me. It was close to being great but instead was just pretty good. But you guys all need to get a grip. Like I said -- the first HITC ever ended with the demonic younger brother of a wrestling zombie interfering in a classic match in a classic rivalry. How is this different than that? You're going to stop watching the WWE now because of this ending? Really? It's really defensible -- chickenshit Rollins gets to brag for an undeserved victory. Also. Daniel Bryan did pretty well for himself last year when he got sidetracked (or "buried" in the parlance of others) by Bray. It's the same formula.

  42. The problem isn't that they are doing a Bray Wyatt and Ambrose feud. The problem is they've ruined far too many main events this year with non-finishes.

  43. Isn't that the point of wrestling, build up a menacing villain for the hero to eventually beat? Yeah, but I think JCM's issue is with the hero that will eventually beat this particular menacing villain. On a separate note, I can't take people who use the phrase "Hivemind" seriously. That's a cop-out, an easy way to dismiss a differing opinion uncritically. I expect better from DVDVR posters.
