Yeah, they're are pretty awesome. They are also developing some really witty retorts to my B.S. I took the girls to a play at the Kelowna Theatre last Friday. Our tickets were at the desk, and I told a funny story to the two women at the counter (in regards to how I got the vouchers to get the free tickets I was picking up), and...well, I come off as a flirt because, yeah. I am. Anyway...as we were going to get some hot chocolate because we were early, my oldest (Zoe), asked me if I knew the two women at the counter? I said no, I was just talking to them to be polite. She accused me of flirting, and I said "I'm not flirting: your Dad is just very charming, handsome and charismatic." To which Zoe replies, "I'm not sure what 'charismatic' means, but I *know* you're not the other two." ZING!

Wade Barrett is a prime example of why wrestling is suffering without competition. After a bit of time to think about it, Stephanie reminded me of Peggy Bundy last night. While not as fabulous as Mrs. Bundy, the way Stephanie talked up HHH last night was like each time everyone knew Al sucked in bed and Peggy would say something like "You rocked my world, Al." to Al's face while telling the woman literally next to her "Not really." Only problem is that HHH isn't as manly or likeable as Al Bundy.

Does anybody really understand lucha psychology? I've watched wrestling from all over the world, and despite liking some lucha, I really have no idea what is going on 95% of the time. Every match just seems like both guys are trying to sprint to get all of their moves in. Both guys are trying to win the match. Sometimes they want to do this through skill and within the framework of the rules. Other times, they don't care for each other much and would like to hurt their opponent in route to victory. That's pretty much it.

I'm with you Marty. This show handles action very well and this episode was pretty much total nonstop action (lolz). I thought this half season kinda sucked, but they drew me back in with that final episode.

The last three movies Howard appeared in all grossed over 60 (In one case, 100) million dollars, I'd say he's still considered a pretty big star. But is he a draw? Er..... I mean, how are his punches? Piss-poor, but you should see his Space Flying Tiger Drop.

I'll admit it. I am not a fan of King of the Hill. I appreciate it. I think it's generally well executed satire. I can definitely go for an episode now and again but I wouldn't want to watch a lot of it. It's a smart show about dumb people, basically. Hank is sort of like the one-eyed man in the land of the blind. It deals with a part of America that I basically never interact with in my daily life and I'd really never want to. It has this ethos that's extremely deconstructionist and often quite cynical, both to things I sort of value and things I revile, while building up these very simple pleasures that I can't relate to at all. I can watch a couple a year and really enjoy them, but if I try to do more than that, it wears out its welcome quickly for me.

When I first heard Bad News Barrett- I was thinking Barrett as some no-nonsense Bad News Brown-type character just beating the crap out of people. I'm so disappointed. Barrett is someone the WWE has no idea what to do with- very good worker and talker, should have a much better run then he has had,

It's amazing to me that Orton feuds with Bryan and buyrates and ratings go down, so they drop Bryan to the midcard. So Orton feuds with Big Show, and everything stays down, and Big Show gets sent to Siberia. But they keep rewarding the constant in those two feuds. Maybe the thinking is if he screws up a program with the golden child, maybe he is toxic. Orton's just Bland Heel 101. Oooh, he's a viper, he's a killer (cue C. Montgomery Burns: "Oooh, the big, bad Germans!"). He's got no real personality to speak of. WWE desperately needs new faces at the top, whether it's face or heel.
