This isn't up for discussion: If you buy DLC you're a fucking tool. Arkham Origins has a number of serious glitches across every platform. Game breaking ones in some cases, in mine I just can't finish the side missions. Still annoying as fuck. LUCKILY WB are bringing out a new DLC pack with some fucking skins that make no difference to the actual game itself other than it looks slightly different. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE: the skins are included if you bought the season pass. If you bought the season pass, you paid extra for some skins but not this: So basically if you buy any of this shit you are a fucking mark, an idiot, and you're enabling this poisonous twats to keep doing this.

Let's not gloss over history here - it's not like the Raimi Spider-Man movies were cinematic masterpieces or anything. Honestly, they kind of sucked. Apart from the casting of the villians, I can't think of any positives that crop of Spidey movies brought to the table. Then again, same goes with this incarnation of Spidey movies too. Also, the upside down kiss was a "pop culture touchstone", whatever that means, for all of a few years. Then everyone came back down to reality and remembered just how bad Kirsten Dunst and Tobey Mcguire really are. At least with these generation of movies, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are passable to decent actors/actresses. Not the walking board of wood the former set of actors are. tl;dr: fuck Spider-Man, all the movies will be bad (forever)

One thing I never understood was the critics, reviewers, and writers saying that Harlem Nights (and to the lesser extent Boomerang) was the first sign that Eddie Murphy's career was going down. I think that goes to Another 48 Hrs. It definitely went to hell with A Distinguished Gentleman. While I was never a big fan of Boomerang outside of Eartha Kitt being outrageous ("Marcus, I'm not wearing any PANTEEES!"), I can remember every scene in Harlem Nights. You can make that argument that he wanted a vehicle for his friends (Arsenio and Miguel Nunez Jr) and Pryor was already sick, but that's what makes me appreciate the movie. Arsenio and Nunez were great in their bit parts. And I think the world was beyond tired of Richard Pryor, probably the greatest standup ever, being in movies where he plays a wacky bus driver/mover and saves his kids/some orphans while doing wacky hijinks going cross country. If anything, Richard's career in film in the 80s ironically was where Eddie's career was headed ten years later. Harlem Nights was the last bit of greatness from Pryor and Redd Foxx, the two reasons why we had Eddie Murphy in the first place. Nowadays if some young hotshot director or young actor wants to recruit Al Pacino and De Niro, it's just downright sad and pathetic. Especially when they're acting from screenplays written by hacks who are best known for doing cookie cutter xXx style, nu-metal action flicks. At least Harlem Nights was in the most natural voice for two of the biggest pioneers in comedy instead some kid and teen audience pandering dialogue.

A big EFF YOU to stomach bugs. This was my first Halloween alone with the girls, and I have been stoked for tonight for MONTHS. We were going to go to Lazer Bowling, and then canvas the neighborhood for candy. But then Tegan (my youngest) got this horrible stomach virus and couldn't keep anything down. So I sent Zoe to school and off to trick-or-treat with a friend; stayed home from work to care for my little girl. Tegan couldn't keep anything down all day...not even water. While wiping her face she accidentally bit me... Long story short, these dudes in fatigues are putting up plastic all around the apartment building. Meanwhile, I am so fucking hungry for brai...pizza. Totally pizza. Weird typo.

I hate to bring any negativity into what has been such a positive thread, but I never gave a shit about the outside the theater stuff. I usually found the skits painfully unfunny and found myself just wishing they'd get back to the movie.
